Kim Kardashian, 40, isn’t just an American reality TV personality and model. She’s also a well-known businesswoman, and the launch of her recent shapewear line, SKIMSSKIMS, has propelled her net worth to over 1 billion dollars.

Touted as “underwear, loungewear, and shapewear created for every body,” SKIMS gained a huge popularity boost because of its innovative styles, accessible pricing, inclusive sizing, and diverse shades.

Even though most shapewear comes in XS-XL, SKIMS offers sizes from XXS to 5X and 28 bra cup sizes. 

They also offer nine color options, as opposed to the usual nude or black shades offered in most department stores. And the best part? Pieces start at over $18 dollars, with the most expensive item clocking it at $98 dollars.

With features like that, it’s no wonder that the launch saw “tens of thousands of orders in a matter of minutes.” Even with a price tag that everyone can afford, Kim’s new products are so successful that even celebrities can’t stop raving about them!

Talk show host Wendy Williams has the distinction of being the first celebrity to show off her new SKIMS shapewear in public.

At an event honoring her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Williams showed her SKIMS Sculpting Bodysuit in Onyx underneath a sheer Dolce & Gabbana star-print silk-chiffon maxi gown.

Even though the gown had a price tag of around $2500 dollars, it was the SKIMS bodysuit that everyone was talking about, with a cost of only $62 dollars!

It seems SKIMS products are so comfortable that they might even be tearing apart friendships!

In a now-deleted Instagram post, singer Selena Gomez snapped a photo in her SKIMS shapewear, calling it “legit” and “so freaking comfortable.”

However, fans were quick to raise eyebrows as the former Disney star gave props to Kim, knowing that she was currently in a feud with her bestie Taylor Swift.

Gomez quickly pulled down the post praising Kim’s shapewear and instead replaced it with a throwback photo of her and Taylor, with the caption, “Thank you for forever being by my side. You have taught me so much, walked through all of this with me, STAYED and you remind me to be a better, human being. I’m on your side for life.”

No word if Selena is still rocking Kim’s shapewear, however!

SKIMS is already making a statement in the fashion world, as singer Billie Eilishchampioned SKIMS loungewear in the music video for her new song, “Lost Cause.”

In the video, the "Bad Guy" singer and her friends can be seen dancing around to the song, all while wearing SKIMS shapely products.

Eilish herself is wearing the SKIMS Boyfriend T-shirt in the color Ochre. She’s also wearing biker shorts and crew socks in the same color along with gold jewelry to compliment her outfit.

Other dancers in the video can be seen wearing the Stretch Rib High Neck Bra and the Stretch Rib Short in the color Soot.
