‘Hackers’: The Film That Introduced Angelina Jolie & Jonny Lee Miller

Angelina Jolie is considered to be the image of actress stardom. Besides her well-documented sex-appeal and beauty, she has received numerous awards, including an Academy Award and three Golden Globes!

The now 46-year-old star has recently stirred up a whirlwind of media attention after being seen visiting her ex-husband Jonny Lee Miller’s house earlier this week. (His apartment being in NYC) The rumors have gained even more media attention after it was revealed she visited carrying a bottle of wine!

She did in fact leave that same night, but many are now wondering whether the pair are getting back together!

Angelina met Jonny (now age 48) on the set of the 1995 film “Hackers”. The pair hit it off and married not long after they finished filming, six months after they met.

Oddly enough, they didn’t have a traditional marriage by any means. In fact, some would view the ceremony as nothing short of bizarre. With only Angelina’s mother and one of Jonny’s friends present, the pair tied the knot in less-than-common wedding garb.

Angelina wore black rubber pants and a T-shirt with Jonny’s name written on it… in her own blood!

The ceremony, and their wedding intentions, were better described as elopement. Though, not entirely secret.

Angelina told the press that she wrote her husband’s name in blood to signify how much she cared for him.

“It's your husband. You're about to marry him," she told The New York Times. "You can sacrifice a little to make it really special."

She went on to share how the marriage was totally a passion-filled experience, also sharing how their clothing was pretty fun. (Like her pants which had a zipper going front to back!)

 “We both proposed to each other and both had questions to ask. I wondered if we should stay engaged for a while since he was going to be in Britain and I would stay in LA. But we went for a quick wedding," she told The Sun. "I went in black leather pants. I had pants with a zipper that goes back to front. He stuck a veil on me at the last second and put a garter on the pants."

Angelina and Jonny have remained friends even after divorcing in 1999. (Not entirely surprising given the spontaneity of their wedding, but the pair apparently don’t hold it against each other at all)

What wasn’t expected was how “Hackers” would be critically received or what it would become to fans. Despite premiering as a total flop with terrible box-office performance, the film is now considered a “cult-classic” by many movie goers!

Angelina has also shared how the movie means a lot to her, and how she enjoyed filming it!

“That’s where I met Jonny, who is still a great friend. So I think of him when I think of that,’ she told Buzzfeed. “Although, I’m sure the movie looks so ancient now, but we had a lot of fun making that.”
