Andreina Santos In A Floral Bikini Branded ‘Beauty With No Brain’

Andreina Santos is showing fans that she’s the “it girl” again. This time, she shares a floral bikini reel on Instagram, paired with matching flower accessories in her hair for a full tropical vibe. Over fifty thousand fans liked the reel.

The comment section, however, wasn’t all positive. Following her latest feat as an islander on “Love Island USA” season 7, many users shared their opinions about what they thought of her character.

The reel was captioned “Tropicoquetta” after Karol G’s new album. The term was coined from two words, “tropical” and the Spanish word “coquetta,” meaning flirty or playful. It was the perfect caption for the reel because Santos's floral bikini, hourglass figure, and cleavage on display embodied the meaning of “Tropicoquetta.”

The reel even featured the “Tropicoquetta” track in the background, while fans came up with other terms to describe the post. A fan wrote, “Pressurelicious.”

Andreina Santos’s run on “Love Island USA” was short but memorable. She entered as a bombshell on day 14 and was dumped on day 24 due to a lack of sufficient public votes.

During her 10 days in the villa, she got both fans and haters. Many accused her of being a “mean girl” toward fellow islander, Huda Mustafa. Some claimed that she was obsessed with Mustafa, and that same energy followed her floral bikini post.

One user called her a “Wanna be Huda,” while another wrote, “You monitoring spirit, leave Huda and her man alone.” One of the harshest slams was a comment that branded her “beauty with no brain.”

But Santos has receipts to prove otherwise. In June, she celebrated graduating with a bachelor’s degree. She didn’t reveal her major, but it refuted the troll’s claim and backed her own villa introduction line, “I rate myself 10 over 10 because brains, beauty, body.”

Andreina Santos stirred even more backlash after posting a selfie with fellow “Love Island” stars, Chelly Bissainthe and Cierra Ortega, on Snapchat.

Ortega was dropped from the show after old clips of her using a racial slur resurfaced. She apologized, but fans haven’t forgiven her, and they’ve now turned their anger on Santos.

“Why would you post those pictures…?” one commenter asked, earning over 100 likes. Another vowed to unfollow her and email brands she works with about her behavior.

Santos clapped back in defense of Ortega, writing:

“Please unfollow and send all the emails you need, my love—whatever brings you peace. Everyone makes mistakes and deserves a chance to grow, and I believe Cierra is doing that. This has been a learning moment for her and for many others. A lot of people don’t always realize how certain slurs can hurt communities. If anything, I’m glad this brought more awareness. Gn xoxo”

Fans are still not pleased. But Santos chooses to give grace.

Days prior, Andreina Santos shared a 5-photo carousel in a crochet bikini that stunned fans. The cheeky cut sent fans into a frenzy, with some praising her body as “natural.”

The scroll-stopping photos also stopped Huda Mustafa defenders in their tracks, enough to leave criticisms in the comments. Santos, however, appears unfazed.

Before “Love Island USA,” Andreina Santos already had a modeling career with global reach.

She’s kept it alongside college and reality TV. But with ongoing backlash over her Ortega link-up, it remains to be seen what turn her career will take.
