Rihanna, born Robyn Fenty, is a 33-year-old singer and actress from Barbados. After getting her first record signed at the age of 16, she went on to produce hit songs like “Diamonds,” “Disturbia” and “Shut Up and Drive.”

She also is an accomplished actress, co-starring in the 2012 film “Battleship” and appearing in “Ocean’s Eight” with Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, and Anne Hathaway.

Although she’s best known for her contributions to the entertainment industry, fans might not have guessed that Rihanna is also an amazing entrepreneur as well!

Fans might be shocked to learn that Rihanna is actually the world’s richest female musician, beating out the likes of Madonna, Celine Dion, and Beyoncé.

Rihanna has partnered with French luxury goods giant LVMH, which co-owns the makeup brand Fenty Beauty. Not only is she a spokesperson for their makeup line, but she also co-owns the Savage X Fenty lingerie line.

In 2019, they expanded their partnership to include a “new clothing house that will make high-end clothes, shoes, accessories, and jewelry.”

Rihanna loves a natural no-makeup look, and she recently made a summer makeup tutorial to show how she uses her top favorite Fenty products, all of which are 100% cruelty-free.

Her favorite products include the Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush, the Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Bronzer, and Full Frontal Volume Lift and Curl Mascara.

“I’ve always seen the Fenty brand as more than just makeup, and I knew I wanted to make skincare from the very beginning,” Rihanna explained. 

“It was just about getting it right. You have to live with the formulas for a while and test them in different ways. It’s very different from makeup in that sense. It takes a long time.”

A lot of the products Rihanna uses include healthy, natural ingredients, like the Barbados cherry.

“That ingredient is packed with a lot of Vitamin C, more than a whole orange, so imagine what that does for your beautiful skin,” she shared.

She also explained that hydration and a healthy diet are key to younger-looking skin, so she makes sure to drink up and use a hydrating mist on long flights.

“People from the best, most exotic islands with access to the best ingredients and stuff like that and the best environment, climate, and humidity – their skin is so beautiful,” she said. “I try to implement a lot of those ingredients into my skincare line.”

Although she prefers a minimalist look in the summer, Rihanna still loves makeup and considers it her “secret weapon.”

“Depending on my mood, my look, or the occasion, makeup can go from very subtle to a complete transformation, and that’s the fun in makeup: being able to play and create in endless ways,” she shared.
