Fans have already threatened to boycott the show over “political” hosts like CNN’s Anderson Cooper, and it seems Guthrie is no exception.

“Seriously? UGH!” a fan tweeted, along with a meme of former “American Idol” host Simon Cowell saying, “It’s a no from me.”

Another fan echoed their sentiments, commenting, “I'd rather spend the time cleaning the litter box, sorting sox, etc.”

Still, not all the comments were negative. “She will be terrific – look forward to watching,” one fan wrote.
