According to her personal trainer, Don Saladino, Lively doesn't count calories.

Instead, she focuses on getting a healthy balance of lean proteins and leafy, green vegetables in every meal and stops eating when she feels full.

Although she doesn't tend to eliminate foods from her diet, she will cut out gluten and soy when shaping up for a role, to help reduce any unnecessary inflammation and keep unwanted bloating at bay.

Lively usually starts her day with a big glass of water, followed by eggs cooked in coconut oil to give her plenty of protein and heart-healthy fats to start her day.

Her lunch and dinner usually look pretty similar. If she's not working on set, Lively loves to cook wild-caught fish or pasture-raised chicken, served with a salad and a small serving of rice or sweet potatoes.

To keep her energy levels up, she usually eats smaller meals throughout the day, snacking on fresh vegetables and hummus or Greek yogurt when she needs an extra boost.

Even when she's not preparing for a role, the “Green Lantern” actress is still dedicated to maintaining her lean physique.

She makes sure to wake up at 5 AM every day and get her workout in at least 5 days a week, with her workout time lasting between 30 minutes to 1.5 hours!

She usually likes to work her whole body with dynamic exercises that are easy to perform at home and without weights, like push-ups, squats, lunges, and planks.

The star of “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” admitted that she's a big cardio buff, and her favorite exercise is sprinting, which allows her to push herself as hard as she can.

Even on her days off, she prefers an active recovery day, either by hiking with her family or riding bikes with her three kids: Inez, Betty, and James.
