Video Of The Week: Ashley Benson's Guide To Easy Smokey Eye

Ashley Benson, who is most widely recognized for her role on "Pretty Little Liars, recently opened up about her beauty routine.

Following a number of high profile romances with several celebrities, including model and actress Cara Delevingne and rapper G-Eazy, and memorable roles in films like "Bring It On: In It to Win It" and "Spring Breakers," Benson spoke to Vogue magazine, willingly giving up a number of secrets in regard to her daily skincare routine.

“I’m actually not the best at taking care of my skin. I get quite lazy,” she admitted.

After first revealing she cleans her face daily with Tata Harper's Regenerating Cleanser, Benson said she immediately puts patches under her eyes and rolls her face with a roller she keeps in her freezer.

Benson then moved on to her makeup routine, including her instruction for creating the perfect smokey eye.

"I never use a brush. I usually always use my fingers. I feel it's easier to apply that way," Benson explained as she dabbed a brown hue from a Dior set onto her eyelid.

After completing the application of the brown shade, Benson said she'll use a darker brown, only in the outside corner of each eye, if she's going for a smokier look.

After caking on each color, depending on how much is needed, Benson blends everything together with her fingers.

According to Benson, she prefers a messier look over a polished look because that's more of her personality. That said, she absolutely detests chapped lips and uses a moisturizing lip stick to maintain a smooth finish.

While Benson certainly had plenty of time to experiment with different makeup looks amid the quarantine shutdowns, she also stayed busy with her acting career. And, as Deadline recently confirmed, she's set to produce and star in the pandemic-horror film, "18 and Over," alongside the likes of Jon Foster, Jake Weary, Sky Ferreira, Luis Guzman, Winnie Harlow, G-Eazy, Duke Nicholson, A$AP Nast, John Robinson, Paris Hilton, and Pamela Anderson.

The film is expected to hit theaters sometime later this year but a premiere date has not yet been announced.

As for Benson's love life, she was recently spotted out and about with a mystery man. But, according to E! News, the rumored couple is nothing more than friends. 

“Ashley is fully single. She and Will have been friends for a while now and definitely have been hanging out recently. They aren’t dating but love going out together and have a lot of fun together,” a source told the outlet last week.
