The King of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms, King Charles III, reportedly knows the end is near.
Sources recently shed light on the monarch's condition amid his battle with cancer, claiming that his health had deteriorated in recent months. The King's physical condition was allegedly so bad that he needed to use a walking stick.
King Charles's cancer battle first made waves in February 2024 following treatment for a benign enlarged prostate. His health struggles came amid growing concerns regarding his estranged relationship with his second son, Prince Harry.

According to new reports, King Charles allegedly declared he was doing the best he could while using a walking stick to move around his Sandringham, Norfolk estate. He was photographed using the wooden aid in recent pictures taken at the 20,000-acre country retreat.
The images shared on Sandringham's official Instagram account captured Charles walking through the Topiary Garden. Although he seemed to be in high spirits, sources claimed he was "putting a very brave face on his pain." One insider said, "he knows the end is coming," as he has gotten frail at 76.
They told RadarOnline, "He is now shuffling around with a cane – and hitting the bottle, and in particular whisky, to numb the pain and despair he feels." They described the situation as "a sad end for him," with other sources echoing similar sentiments about the King's alleged condition.
The Monarch Is Allegedly Drinking & Using Cannabis

Another source agreed Charles was hitting the whiskey bottles to ease his pain, alleging "his health has deteriorated significantly in recent months." They stressed that his walking stick was now "a necessity" and not a traditional accessory.
Charles typically used walking sticks during his outdoor outings before his cancer diagnosis. The source added that he was "facing a tough, losing battle with his illness," with a different insider noting the pain had influenced the King's cannabis use.
"Charles has always been open-minded about natural remedies. He's tending a small crop of cannabis, hoping its medicinal properties will ease his pain without causing scandal," the insider claimed. Another royal source alleged he grew the cannabis in one of the greenhouses at Highgrove.
The Head Of The Commonwealth Realms Was Hospitalized For Observation

The claims of Charles's declining health come months after he made waves for getting hospitalized in March. The Blast covered the story, reporting the King had to stay for observation due to side effects from his cancer treatment.
A spokesperson explained that the situation forced Charles to cancel his scheduled appointments, sending his apologies to anyone inconvenienced by his absence. The King stayed briefly at the hospital before returning to Clarence House without issues.
As stated, Charles's cancer diagnosis became known in February 2024 following treatment for a benign enlarged prostate. Buckingham Palace announced that a "form of cancer" was uncovered during subsequent diagnostic tests into the monarch's condition.
Fans Implore The Father Of Two To Reconcile With His Youngest Son

Charles's cancer battle occurred during his estrangement from his youngest son, Prince Harry. The duo grew apart after the latter and his wife, Meghan Markle, dropped scathing claims against the Royal Family.
Additionally, Harry's tell-all memoir "Spare" further divided the family, but fans implored the King to take the first step to reconciliation. The Blast reported that the pleas for his reunion with his son began after Charles marked Father's Day.
The Royal Family Instagram page dedicated to the King and Queen Camilla dropped a childhood picture of Charles and a snap of Camilla with her father, Major Bruce Shand. Fans flooded the comment section with pleas for forgiveness, begging the monarch to end the years-long rift.
King Charles Reportedly 'Wary' Of A Reunion With Prince Harry

A month after the Father's Day pleas for reconciliation, The Blast shared that a royal expert claimed Charles was "open" to reuniting with Harry. Hillary Fordwich claimed "King Charles, while cautious and wary, might attend the Invictus Games."
Harry reportedly invited the British monarch and his older brother, Prince William, to the 2027 event as an olive branch. However, Fordwich noted that Charles would tread carefully, given his past with his youngest son and Camilla's birthday falling around the Invictus Games.
Charles's alleged willingness to end his rift with Harry followed a secret meeting between his aides and the Sussexes' reps. A source described the event as a long-awaited "channel of communication" between the father and son, noting the peace talks could speed up their reconciliation.
