Britney Spears had some artistic inspiration recently but could not pinpoint the source of her creativity … until now. The Princess of Pop took to Instagram this week to shed some light on why she chose to draw a woman surrounded by a snake with a rainbow in the background, and although she admitted to be fielding responses from friends on the situation, it just took a quick look at the calendar to give her the real answer.
Check out Britney’s drawing below!
Britney Spears proudly displayed her drawing, which appears to have been done in the classical medium of pencil and crayon on white paper. Britney’s art depicts the face of a woman with a coiled-up snake wrapped around and ready to strike while a rainbow arched overhead.
“It’s always nice to have those WTF moments … they keep us aware, right 😳😳😳 ???? And if you’re lucky 🍀 some of those WTF moments can be miracles … a couple weeks ago I drew this picture of a girl and a snake 👧🏼🐍 and I asked my friend what it meant and she asked if there was a jungle I was in search of 🤔” Britney captioned the drawing.
After taking a moment to reflect, Britney Spears’ inner bulb went off and the star shared:
“And well now I get it … it’s #PrideMonth and I wore a fucking snake costume last week 🌈🌈🌈🐍🐍🐍 !!!! So I had that WTF moment this morning when I saw my drawing and it’s kinda funny 😂😂😂 … how did I do that 😱?!”
Although Britney probably felt great connecting the dots, the social media moment was a little confusing for fans, who sounded off in the comments.
“This post is definitely a WTF moment, queen!” one loyal Britney fan commented on Instagram.
“I’m having a wtf moment just reading this post,” another user wrote, while a third comment stated, “My wtf moment is right now.”
At least one fan appreciated the ending, commenting “What a journey reading this was, thank you.”
While others were asking their normal questions about Britney “being ok,” one person was mostly concerned about her manicure:
“Let me get your nails right Britney! You need some tlc on those fingers,” the fan wrote after Britney’s chipped nails were exposed alongside her artwork.
Can’t please ’em all.
