Anti-Diddy Pardon Petition Could Land On Donald Trump’s Desk If It Hits 25K Signatures

A growing online petition is calling on Donald Trump to make one thing crystal clear. Sean "Diddy" Combs should never be on his pardon list.
The campaign, fueled by outrage over the president's recent comments hinting he might consider granting clemency to the embattled music mogul, has already galvanized support across the political spectrum, including from some of Donald Trump's own voters.
Speculation Swirls Over Donald Trump Pardon For Rapper Sean Combs

Sean "Diddy" Combs, the disgraced rapper and Bad Boy Records co-founder, was convicted on June 2, 2025, of two charges related to transportation to engage in prostitution. He was acquitted of more serious charges of racketeering and sex trafficking.
Despite repeated attempts to secure release from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, including offering bonds and promises, the judge has consistently denied his requests. The music mogul now awaits sentencing, scheduled for October 3.
Speculation about a potential presidential pardon erupted after it was reported that Trump was "seriously considering" intervening, even though Diddy's defense team had not directly sought the White House's attention. The report suggested that people close to Combs had been quietly pushing for recourse ahead of his sentencing.
Petition Slams Potential Diddy Pardon As 'Betrayal' To Survivors

The petition itself is raw and unapologetic, warning that a pardon for Combs, who stands accused of sexual assault, abuse, and other serious crimes, would be a betrayal of every survivor's fight for justice. It rejects any notion that politics should influence the legal process, urging Trump to "let the system run its course" and "let survivors be heard."
That nonpartisan tone has struck a chord. "People from all political backgrounds have an issue with sex trafficking and abuse," the petition creator told The Blast exclusively. "Sometimes it is not about party or political affiliation. It is about what is right and wrong. It is about morality and human decency."
Petition Fueled By Disturbing Cassie Assault Video And Survivors' Testimonies

The petition's driving force comes from deeply disturbing survivor testimonies, particularly the video showing Cassie being brutally beaten at the Intercontinental Hotel.
"Most of the victims who testified had stories that were very similar to Cassie's," the creator said, adding that even Combs' defense team acknowledged his abusive behavior.
They believe the prosecution's case could have been stronger. "I think the verdict might have been different if jurors had been better educated about coercive control and how it traps and manipulates victims, as well as understanding RICO," they said.
Petition Organizer To Donald Trump: Just Because You Can Pardon Diddy 'Doesn't Mean You Should'

While no political leaders or members of the Trump campaign have responded so far, the petition has drawn significant support from survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.
"That kind of support matters because it shows this issue is real and deeply personal to many people," the organizer said.
If given the chance to speak to Trump directly, the petition creator says they'd keep it simple, "Don't pardon people just because they are friends or used to be friends. The power to pardon should be used for those who truly deserve it… Just because you have the authority to do something does not mean you should."
Organizer Vows To Send Petition To Trump Once 25K Signatures Are Reached

The organizer's goal is to hit at least 25,000 signatures before sending the petition straight to Trump and his associates, a move they hope will create enough public pressure to stop any possible pardon.
"I want to get enough signatures to create real awareness and spark national conversations about this potential pardon," she told The Blast. "I want Trump to see that even some of his own supporters are against it."
Beyond that, they plan to mobilize supporters through email campaigns targeting people with political influence.
"I will be asking everyone who signs the petition to email people who may have political influence or connections to Trump," she continued. "Petition signers get notifications of updates, and I will use those updates to share specific action steps they can take to help push this issue forward."
The petition currently has over 11,000 signatures and is growing.
