It only took two years, but Liam Hemsworth and Gabriella Brooks are finally Instagram official!
The private couple made their debut at the Gold Dinner 2021 in Australia on Friday, June 11. Liam and Gabriella attended the event, which benefits the Sydney Children’s Hospital, alongside his brother, Chris Hemsworth and his wife, Elsa Pataky, and Matt Damon‘s wife, Lucciana Barroso.
“Fantastic night raising much needed funds and awareness for one of the most important and challenging issues, children’s mental health. Thank you @itsmondotcom for hosting the evening and all you do for the Sydney children’s hospital @sydney_kids #golddinner,” Hemsworth wrote alongside his post.
The “Hunger Games” star looked dapper in an all-black suit with a black tie. Brooks was giving off Jennifer Lawrence vibes in a beautiful black gown. Meanwhile, the “Thor” actor wore a black suit with a white shirt with no tie. Elsa kept it classy in a sequined, white outfit.
Fans were surprised by Liam’s post because the couple has kept things very private since they first sparked dating rumors in 2019.
The relationship was confirmed when they were seen sharing an ocean smooch in early 2020. The pics were a clear sign that Hemsworth moved on after his messy divorce with Miley Cyrus.
In January, a source close to the couple told E! News that Gabriella is “very different from Miley” and enjoys the same lifestyle as the Aussie actor.
Luckily for Liam, Brooks quickly got the stamp of approval from the Hemsworth family. “The family very much approves and likes having her around,” E!’s source said. “They are happy for Liam that he has found someone that brings out the best in him.”
