Irina Shayk And Kanye West Were Reportedly Together Before French Vacation

This week, Kanye West has been trending heavily on social media, as this is due to him possibly being in a new relationship. This is all while he still has an ongoing divorce with Kim Kardashian, who he has been married to since 2014, and together in total since 2012. The woman that West is rumored to be dating now is Russian model, Irina Shayk. The two were reportedly seen together in Provence, France together. This was in celebration of West's 44th birthday a few days ago.

According to TMZ, Kanye and Irina's dating situation was brewing long before the vacation to France this week. They were reportedly in New York City together for the DMX memorial service at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn as well. That was in late April. Sources close to the situation also say that the two have been seeing each other as far back as March. Irina was also seen wearing the DMX and Balenciaga collaboration shirt that West created, in honor of the hip-hop legend. She was photographed wearing the exclusive shirt in New York City.

According to sources close to PEOPLE, Kanye and Irina aren't official but, there is "interest" from both sides. This comes as the two landed in New Jersey on Wednesday after the France trip concluded. 

"They have known each other professionally for years. He started pursuing her a few weeks ago. Kanye is a persuasive guy. "He hung out with her in NYC before they celebrated his birthday in France. She seems smitten. He invited her to France and she happily accepted. They are not officially dating, but there is an interest from both sides."

Many wonder what Kim Kardashian feels about Kanye's new thing with Irina. According to Page Six, there are no issues at all here.

“Kim is fine with it,” said a source. “She just wants him to be happy and healthy. Kim is studying and focused on the kids.”

This all comes after Kim was seen on "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" being frustrated about the divorce. She went as far as saying she felt like a failure, for not being able to get the marriage to work.

At the same time, fans of Kanye wonder when new music will finally be arriving. Last summer, he teased the release of his "Donda" album in July, which didn't end up being put out. Now, Kanye is said to have his "West Day Ever" album on the way. This is after his manager, Abou "Bu" Thiam, commented under a Gap post about the collaboration with Kanye. Thiam commented "WestDayEver. Album OTW." This caused immediate excitement from fans, as Kanye's last album was "Jesus Is King" in October 2019, which went on to win a Grammy this year.
