Radio legend Howard Stern has reportedly reached his wits' end with podcasting superstar Alex Cooper.
According to an inside source, Stern is allegedly frustrated with Cooper's podcast (also distributed by SiriusXM) because it's reportedly outperforming his streaming numbers by a significant margin.
The source also alleged that Stern has harbored similar negative feelings toward "Real Housewives" executive producer Andy Cohen, another SiriusXM star who has achieved considerable success.

Speaking with OK! Magazine, a source told the publication that because Stern's alleged hatred toward Cooper has reached an all-time high, studio executives at SiriusXM are doing everything they can to ensure they never cross paths. According to the source, Cooper "bugs" the former "America's Got Talent" judge.
"She gets hundreds of millions of hits, she has this mega $125 million deal, and he hates that this young bubbly woman is the big new thing," the insider later claimed.
And that's not all that they had to share.
Another reason for Stern's alleged disdain toward Cooper is that her show's popularity has "completely turned his world upside down." The source noted that after being the big boss of radio for over four decades, Stern never expected to play second fiddle to anyone. "This change has really shocked everyone," they said.

Cooper, 31, has been hosting the "Call Her Daddy" podcast since 2018, when it was partnered with Barstool Sports. After a public falling out with Barstool Sports' owner, Dave Portnoy, Cooper took her talents to Spotify, where she signed a three-year exclusive deal reportedly worth more than $60 million.
During Cooper's time with Spotify, the "Call Her Daddy" podcast became the most popular female-hosted show globally on the platform, and it also became the second-most popular podcast on the app, just behind Joe Rogan's "The Joe Rogan Experience."
In 2024, Cooper joined forces with SiriusXM to bring her top-ranking podcast to their platform, granting the company exclusive advertising and distribution rights. "Alex's fearless, unfiltered approach, where no topic is off the table, has created a passionate and dedicated fanbase that is unmatched in podcasting and perfectly aligns with the content that SiriusXM subscribers have come to love and expect from us," said Scott Greenstein, President and Chief Content Officer at SiriusXM.
Cooper, meanwhile, revealed that she was "beyond excited" to work with the company, adding that the "Daddy Gang will always be my top priority."
Howard Stern Also Reportedly Fuming Over Andy Cohen's Successful Show

The source later revealed that Cooper isn't the only colleague whose success is allegedly frustrating Stern, pointing to Andy Cohen's popular radio show, "Andy Cohen Live."
"Andy's interviews are regularly promoted by Sirius, while you just don't hear much about Howard's interviews these days," they shared.
Cohen, who also hosts Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live," renewed his contract with SiriusXM in 2022, as reported by Variety.
"I'm gratified by the level of commitment SiriusXM has shown me and my channel," the TV personality said at the time. "Our roster of big-name talent, mixed with folks who soon will be big-name talent, makes Radio Andy the perfect hub for everything pop culture."
Howard Stern's Show Could Be Coming To An End

This news about Stern's alleged jealousy comes as separate reports claim his longstanding radio show could be coming to an end if the company doesn't present him with a compelling offer.
The source further revealed that while the bosses at SiriusXM are planning to make the radio legend an offer, it is likely to be something Stern will not want to hear. "Sirius and Stern are never going to meet on the money he is going to want. It's no longer worth the investment," they claimed.
Stern May Have A Backup Plan If Things Don't Work Out With SiriusXM

According to another report from The Blast, Stern isn't ready to leave SiriusXM, as a source shared that the radio host believes he's "the best" and that streaming companies can learn a great deal from his experience and expertise.
Despite his wishes, the insider also claimed that Stern is prepared to walk if necessary and has allegedly been meeting with other streaming giants, such as Netflix and HBO, as a potential backup plan.
"His story isn't done," the source said. "He wants it to all end on his own terms. He believes he deserves that for all that he has done in the medium."
