Jennifer Aniston made waves in May after an alleged stalker crashed his vehicle into her Los Angeles property. The terrifying ordeal occurred in May, the same month the entertainer sparked dating rumors with the hypnotherapist Jim Curtis.

The actress reflected on the horrific May incident that saw a male fan ramming his vehicle into the gate of her Los Angeles home. The man was successfully apprehended by Aniston’s security until police arrived, leaving her with bitter memories that she did not wish to dive into.

Although Aniston told the outlet she preferred not to address the matter at length, she confessed that it drove home the importance of having a security team.

“People are out of their minds. Who wants to put that energy out there?” she said, adding that her protection detail was “not glamorous in any way. It’s a necessity.”

Aniston and Curtis’ speculated romance first caught fans’ attention in May when she posted a picture of his book “Shift: Quantum Manifestation Guide: A Workbook for Coding a New Consciousness.” Internet sleuths also noticed that she followed him on social media and frequently liked his posts.

The actress's romantic ties to Curtis were a breath of fresh air that month, as her alleged stalking incident had occurred weeks prior. Aniston’s issues with the overzealous male fan reportedly began in 2023, with The Blast sharing that he allegedly spammed her with messages.

The culprit, Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, was charged with felony stalking and felony vandalism after an investigation into his social media account revealed multiple mentions of the TV personality. He was arrested after crashing his car into Aniston’s Los Angeles property on May 5.

The court ordered Carwyle to stay at least 100 yards away from Aniston and prohibited him from contacting her in any way. However, he had to be evaluated for mental competency to stand trial after arriving for his arraignment looking disheveled in a blue suicide-prevention blanket.

Carwyle's alleged actions reportedly impacted Aniston negatively, with sources claiming she considered moving out of her Los Angeles home. The Blast reported that she might relocate to her renovated Montecito home, which she purchased for $14.8 million in 2022.

“Jen is happy to have a safe place to run to where she can let her hair down. Though she loves Los Angeles because it is where she grew up, she is craving more of a country setting these days away from the noise,” a source said about Aniston’s possible relocation to Montecito.

Another con of being famous was having her relationships with the opposite sex make headlines. She has been romantically linked to several A-listers this year, including actor Pedro Pascal, after the paparazzi spotted them outside a West Hollywood restaurant.

The most bizarre dating rumor was her alleged connection to Barack Obama, which Aniston debunked on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” She told the host she was closer to Michelle Obama than the former president. Her longtime pal, Jason Bateman, shed more light on her preferences, telling the magazine:

“It’s not surprising to me that she’s not some serial dater, not because she’s overly picky or snobby. You don’t need to be some superhero to grab her attention. If you are comfortable in your skin, she gravitates to you.”

Bateman added that a relationship with Aniston wasn't impossible as long as the man rose to the occasion. “The challenge is for a guy to see past her fame and charisma and presence and beauty—to not be distracted by that—and tune into the stuff at the deep core,” he claimed.

Hypnotherapist Jim Curtis must have seen past Aniston’s fame to love the woman underneath, as he has been making waves for being her new flame. The Blast covered the story, sharing that the paparazzi spotted the rumored couple in New York City.

Aniston and Curtis enjoyed a double date with Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka, at the West Village on August 4. The outing came weeks after they turned heads on a yacht vacation in Mallorca. An insider further fueled the romance theory, claiming they had been seeing each other for months.
