Hulk Hogan Autopsy Call Is In Wife Sky Daily’s Hands Despite Brooke’s Plea

When it comes to deciding whether WWE legend Hulk Hogan will undergo an autopsy, the call isn’t Brooke Hogan’s to make. It’s his wife, Sky Daily’s.

Hogan passed away on July 24 at the age of 71 following a cardiac arrest.

Reports also noted Hulk Hogan had a history of leukemia and atrial fibrillation, a type of irregular heart rhythm.

TMZ Sports reports that the District Six Medical Examiner in Largo, Florida, confirmed Friday that even though Brooke has voiced her desire for a post-mortem examination, the choice ultimately rests in Sky’s hands. So far, officials say there’s no indication Sky has formally requested one.

That doesn’t mean it’s off the table. On Wednesday, Sky hinted she might eventually go that route, revealing Hulk has not yet been cremated “as our family is making sure every question about his medical care is answered first.”

According to the ME’s office, Sky would first need to report any concerns about Hulk’s death to law enforcement. Only after a police investigation would the medical examiner step in. Brooke has made it clear she’d support that move, even offering to personally cover any expenses tied to the process.

Despite the sensitive nature of the situation, Brooke assured fans in a Thursday night Instagram statement that she and Sky are on good terms while the decision is being considered.

The update comes just days after Brooke appeared to publicly endorse friend Bubba the Love Sponge’s suspicions surrounding her father’s death.

When an Instagram post shared the headline, “Quick cremation without autopsy raises questions about Hulk Hogan’s death,” Brooke simply replied, “Exactly.”

Amid the growing wave of conspiracy theories, Pinellas County Medical Examiner claims an autopsy wasn’t deemed necessary as “there were no signs of foul play or suspicious activity.”

Adding another layer to the already complicated family dynamic, Brooke Hogan was notably absent from her father’s funeral, and she’s unapologetic about her decision. The wrestling legend’s estranged daughter explained she stayed away because she believed Hulk would have wanted things handled differently if he were still alive.

Brooke stressed that her absence had nothing to do with money or property disputes with her estranged mother, and she made it clear she wasn’t looking forward to losing anyone else she loved.

“I would have made him an Elvis legacy, or a Marilyn Monroe legacy, or a Selena legacy, and I hope that whoever has his marks does that,” she said, sharing her vision for preserving his memory.

The mother-of-two also didn’t hold back when addressing those who surrounded her father in his final years, claiming they were more interested in cashing checks than anything else.

“Everybody’s there for a paycheck, everybody is there egging him on because you guys are getting paid… and I said, ‘It’s killing him,’” Brooke alleged.

Brooke says the last time she spoke to her father was in a phone call that left her deeply unsettled, and it happened just before his wedding to Sky Daily.

“What happened was he called me and there was a very weird, cryptic, strange message,” she shared. “It reminded me of when people in AA do their steps, and he said, ‘Hey, I just wanted to call and say I’m sorry for whatever I did.’”

Taken aback, Brooke pushed for clarification, asking if he was referring to comments he had made about her in the infamous sex tape scandal or something else entirely. She noted there were “a lot of things” from the past he could have been apologizing for, but his vague statement left her unsure what he actually meant.

Hogan never clarified, and Brooke says she ended the call knowing he was about to marry Sky. “And that’s the last time I talked to my dad,” she revealed. “I just have the heebie jeebies. I’m just feeling too weird about it.”

Hulk Hogan and Sky Daily tied the knot in September 2023 after about a year of dating, marking his third walk down the aisle.

Before finding love with Sky, the wrestling legend was married to makeup artist Jennifer McDaniel from 2010 to 2021, and to Brooke’s mother, Linda Hogan, from 1983 to 2009.
