Just as Prince Harry makes quiet efforts to reconcile with the royal family, Meghan Markle's ongoing feud with her half-sister is threatening to blow everything up.
According to an expert, the upcoming battle between the Markles could break the "fragile links" Harry and Meghan have been trying to reestablish with senior royals.
The expert claimed this is due to the royal family's "hyper-sensitive" stance toward legal issues, especially those coming from America.
Expert Claims Royals Are 'Hyper Sensitive' Towards Legal Issues From America

As Meghan Markle prepares to face her half-sister, Samantha Markle, in court, questions are being raised about the broader impact on her relationship with the British royals.
The former actress and her husband, Prince Harry, have been at odds with the Palace since stepping down as working royals and relocating to the U.S.
But now, an expert has claimed that Harry's recent moves toward reconciliation may be ruined by the drama surrounding the upcoming legal battle between the Markles.
"More legal disputes between Meghan and Samantha could break the fragile links between Harry and Meghan, trying to establish a way forward," royal expert Ian Pelham Turner told Fox News.
According to Turner, "the royals are hyper-sensitive toward any legal issues in America" and are wary that these issues could "result in any more secrets coming out to the detriment of the royals in the UK."
Meghan Markle's Reputation May Be Further Ruined By The Lawsuit

On the legal front, the royal family has already been affected by the controversy surrounding disgraced Prince Andrew, who was sued by the late Virginia Giuffre for sexual assault. Although the case was later settled out of court, the stain of the scandal still lingers.
The Sussexes have also brought unwanted attention their way with Harry's memoir Spare, their bombshell interview with Oprah, and their Netflix documentary.
Now, with Samantha coming out again to take on Meghan, based on claims stemming from the Oprah interview, some within The Firm may view it as a "timely action" by the former senior royal's half-sister.
"This could be misconstrued as a timely action by Samantha Markle, as she sees her half-sister on the ropes regarding Netflix and a glimmer of hope to be reconnected with the royal family," Turner said.
The Legal Feud Does Not 'Reflect Well' On Meghan Markle, Expert States

Whatever the case may be regarding the outcome of Meghan's legal war with her half-sister, Samantha, royal expert, Turner claimed that it forebodes "nothing good" for Meghan.
"Her reputation is tarnished further by her own sister making such allegations," Turner noted, referencing Samantha's claims that Meghan made "demonstrably false and malicious statements" about her during the Oprah interview.
The expert added, "Whether true or not, it doesn't matter, as neither way does it reflect well."
Prince Harry No Longer Wants To Fight His Family

Although Prince Harry appeared to be making several efforts toward reconciliation, his intentions became publicly clear during a BBC interview in May.
At the time, he told the outlet that he would love to reconcile with his family, adding that there was no point in continuing to fight anymore.
Following that declaration, Harry reportedly made the surprising move of offering to share his official schedule of engagements and outings with the royal family.
Royal sources praised the move as a significant milestone that could help ease tensions between the Sussexes and the royal family.
"Harry has shifted into a new way of thinking. The tone is now all about 'deconflicting' with his family," an insider shared per theDaily Mail.
They added, "That's why his household agreed to draw up a 'grid' of his activities and share them with Buckingham Palace, and by extension with Kensington Palace. Harry still doesn't like being controlled by the Royal machinery, and that won't change. However, if the Royal Family have full sight of his movements they can at least plan accordingly. It's a significant gesture."
Potential Reconciliation With Royal Family May Not Involve Meghan, Says Source

While the royal family has reportedly welcomed peace talks with Harry, they are extremely reluctant to do so with Meghan.
At the core of their decision to keep their distance from the As Ever founder is a deep lack of trust.
"They just don't trust her," a source told the Daily Express. "Any family gatherings would likely be solo affairs. Meghan, I'm told, wouldn't be welcome."
Beyond their mistrust of Meghan, the royal family reportedly sees staying distant as a way to avoid being used in her public-facing projects, such as her cooking show and podcast.
