Even after nearly three decades of watching her daughter Beyoncé dominate the world stage, Tina Knowles still reacts like a superfan.
The proud mom and grandmother says she refuses to become “jaded” by her family’s success, even if it sometimes lands her in hot water with the superstar singer over her enthusiastic social media posts.
Tina Knowles On Family, Fame, And Excitement

During her recent appearance on Kate Hudson’s "Sibling Revelry" podcast, Tina reflected on her family’s extraordinary journey.
Asked if she ever thinks Beyoncé’s fame is a given because “she came from me,” Tina dismissed the notion.
“I just think about how blessed we are to be passionate about something and for it to come to life like that,” she said per Hello! Magazine. “I mean, I don’t take it for granted. Ever.”
She added, “I’m still crying. I’m still like, ‘I can’t believe this.’ I’m screaming louder than anybody when Blue and Rumi come out, not as much for me, but for them.”
Tina also described watching one of Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour shows, attended by Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King.
Despite having seen the performance countless times, she admitted, “I’m screaming the whole time, and I’m like, I have no shame, you know.”
Beyoncé Tells Her Mom To Stop Posting

That same excitement is what sometimes causes tension with her daughter.
Tina confessed she can’t resist flooding Instagram with clips of Beyoncé and her granddaughters, Blue Ivy and Rumi.
“I post twenty five videos, and then I get a call and Beyoncé will be like, ‘Mama, can you not post so much? Like c’mon now, when are you ever going to stop posting? … You’re doing too much,’” Tina recalled with a laugh.
Still, Tina insisted she doesn’t regret her enthusiasm.
She said, “I never want to be jaded about it or take it for granted, it’s still really exciting for me.”
Fans React To Beyoncé's Mom's Comments

A clip of Tina's comments was reposted on Instagram by Onsite! and several fans trooped to the post's comment section to share their thoughts, with some relating to the proud mom's experience.
One fan said, "We always thought our moms were doing too much when we were little. Look at us now, as years go by we find ourselves doing what our mamas used to do back in the days. When Bey's girls grow up, she'll be doing just as much she’s just a proud mama."
Another person added, "Ms. Tina is living the dream every mother has!! To see her baby taking over and be the best in her profession! That’s mission accomplished. Beyoncé better sit down and hope she gets to be Ms.Tina one day lol."
A third fan shared, "Momma Knowles is all of our mommas! I be like momma please don’t send my kindergarten report to no one else."
A fourth person advised, "Enjoy that time as long as you can," while a fifth thanked Tina for her posts, noting, "We already knew this lol we are thankful for you Mama Tina keep letting us in lol."
Tina Knowles On How She Protects Her Grandkids

Despite her excitement over seeing her daughter and granddaughters on stage, Tina is very protective of her grandkids.
During an interview with Elle UK, she was asked how she protects her grandchildren and keeps their lives normal now that so many people know them.
Tina responded, "You know, their mother keeps their lives normal. And they are just normal kids. They love the stage - they've grown up around it."
She revealed, "Rumi, for the last tour, just every day, said, 'I want to go out there. I want to'. She wanted to experience it too. And so Beyoncé is allowing her to do it this time."
The proud grandma added, "And I'm really happy about it, because she has fun out there. She gets to be a kid, and when she gets off stage, she's right back to being Rumi, the little kid, you know, the little seven-year-old, adorable."

Tina Knowles has been proudly sharing moments from her granddaughter Rumi Carter’s stage debut this summer.
Reposting a video montage of Rumi’s performances, she wrote, “Grandma is missing you much today my sweet baby girl Rumi Love,” before adding that Rumi did “all of her choreography” completely on her own.
Tina revealed how she prepared her granddaughter for the big shows, recalling, “When I asked her, ‘What are you gonna do tonight Rumi?’ she would reply, ‘Be myself,’ or, ‘It’s a surprise grandma,’ basically respectfully saying without saying, ‘I got this.’”
She admitted she always cheered her on, noting, “Of course, I encouraged her to do the most. We never knew what to expect.”
Tina also revealed that Rumi embraced her own creative control, saying, “She picked out her costumes every night from the many choices her stylist @tytryone gave her!”
