Brooke Hogan Celebrated Hulk Hogan's Life By The Beach

In a lengthy social media post, the mother of two justified her decision to step away from the pomp and pageantry of her father's funeral. She noted that the late wrestler "hated the morbidity of funerals," and she was sure he did not want one.

However, Brooke was beyond grateful that several events and celebrations were organized to honor the life of the wrestling legend. She added that she chose to honor him privately and in a genuine way, which he would have appreciated.

Brooke informed the fans that she chose to spend the day with her children by the beach, placing them in the salty water as Hulk would have loved to do. She added that the private activity only missed Hulk's pop-up lawn chair, where he would have sat, watching the sun set and the waves crash.

"I would have made him an Elvis legacy, or a Marilyn Monroe legacy, or a Selena legacy, and I hope that whoever has his marks does that," the mother-of-two clarified about a part of him she would have loved to carry on with her.

The former TV star reiterated that everyone around her father chased after their pockets and refused to be completely honest with him, which may have led to his quick death.

"Everybody's there for a paycheck, everybody is there egging him on because you guys are getting paid… and I said, 'It's killing him,'" she concluded.
