Holland was recently featured on Gordon Ramsey's YouTube channel. During the episode, the two discussed several topics and bonded while making spicy fried chicken sandwiches.

As the cooking session went on, the celebrity chef playfully hinted at Holland being the next "007."

"Ever thought about using the word James with future movies going forward?" Ramsey asked.

"Listen, there's speculation at the minute. We'll keep it to a minimum for now. We'll get there one day," the "Spider-Man" actor playfully responded.

Ramsey further probed the topic, asking Holland if he could imagine the impact the role would have on his life. "You'd love the opportunity, right?" he questioned further.

Holland Is One Of The Top Contenders For The '007' Role

Several big names have taken up the "007" role in the past, including actors such as Daniel Craig, Sean Connery, and Pierce Brosnan.

As Holland sets his sights on joining the roster of famed actors who have portrayed the legendary role, the upcoming film will feature a new director, Denis Villeneuve. The "Dune" director will be at the forefront of creating the 26th James Bond movie, which is set to be released no sooner than 2028.

Although Villeneuve is locked in to direct the next movie, he signed a one-off deal with Amazon, and it is uncertain if he will also direct a sequel.

As confirmed by Variety, inside sources say that producers are on the lookout for a British actor under 30 to play Bond.

Notably, Holland isn't the only name to be whispered in casting rumors for the iconic Secret Service franchise.

Timothée Chalamet is also in talks to be in the Bond universe. However, he will not play the "007" character, but will take on a different role.

As confirmed by The Blast, an insider said, "An American actor will not play Bond, it is not going to happen, so that leaves Timothée out of the running for the lead."

Chalamet, who has made headlines for his PDA-filled romance with reality star Kylie Jenner, has featured in several notable screenplays such as "Dune," "Wonka," and "A Complete Unknown."

While nothing is set in stone regarding Tom Holland's role as the next "007," one thing is certain for the "Uncharted" actor– his romance with Zendaya is not dying down anytime soon.

Holland surprised Zendaya with a secret proposal, and engagement rumors were confirmed after the "Euphoria" actress was spotted wearing an engagement ring at the 2025 Golden Globes.

While fans are excited to see the duo tie the knot, The Blast has confirmed that they are not rushing to the altar just yet. Zendaya's stylist, Law Roach, spoke about the wedding plans last month, saying "the process hasn't even started yet."

"It's far away. They're both doing a bunch of movies this year, and there's a lot of premieres next year," he added.

Although Roach did not provide specifics about the Hollywood couple's upcoming nuptials, he confirmed that it will be a very private affair.
