Scott Wolf's estranged wife, Kelley, is sharing a different narrative about her ongoing divorce from the comedian and her infamous psychiatric holds.

The media personality penned her grievances on Instagram, claiming she struggled financially despite a judge ordering her former partner to cover her living expenses. She also slammed the system, claiming she was wrongfully held against her will twice.

Scott and Kelley Wolf were married for 21 years before announcing their separation in June 2025. The “Party of Five” star filed for divorce shortly after but has repeatedly made waves for the wrong reasons due to his estranged wife's bizarre behavior.

In a lengthy statement about her alleged predicament, Kelley claimed she recently faced two choices about where to sleep. She claimed she could have slept in her car again or chosen the booked room at what used to be her favorite hotel in Utah.

“I chose neither. Because dignity matters. I have $6 to my name. My brother supports me. Let that sink in,” Kelley revealed. She claimed that after achieving a renowned career as “one of the most exclusive consultants in the world,” she now lived in a system that tried to erase her existence.

Kelley claimed her mother called her a "drug addict" after seeing the “extensive toxicology reports from two involuntary psychiatric holds.” She stressed that both reports showed “No drugs. No diagnosis. Just this line: ‘Kelley incited a riot and turned patients against staff.’”

Why The Actor's Former Partner Claims She's Innocent

Kelley claimed the reports were partly true because she did not incite a riot but saved people from a destructive system. “I couldn't stay silent. Not while men and women were being labeled as ‘crazy,’ held for up to 180 days, and forced to take drugs against their will,” she argued.

“I helped three people get out last week. I will help more. I'm not done until every woman who asked for freedom and got a sentence instead is seen. Is safe. Is free,” Kelley declared. She also referenced the temporary restraining order her estranged husband filed against her, writing:

“Let's be even clearer: That TRO? would've kept me in Summit Behavioral indefinitely. If I had believed the accusations, the labels, the whispered threats- I would still be inside. But I'm not. I'm here. I'm alive. I'm laughing. I'm camping.”

The Media Personality Has A New Man

Kelley revealed she was “dating someone kind and awake,” crediting him for keeping her off the streets. “I'm in a beautiful home tonight, because a man who barely knew me saw the truth and acted with integrity,” she explained.

She also acknowledged those who supported her amid the backlash, thanking them for not believing the “crazy” stories about her. Kelley's statement comes a month after Scott filed the TRO in a Utah court, with a declaration from his brother backing his need for protection.

The Blast covered the story, reporting that a source close to Kelley stressed she was worried about the impacts of the restraining order on her three children. “It’s so sad for the kids, but Kelley is ready to fight like hell for her children. It is not warranted, it’s cruel. And it’s incorrect,” they claimed.

Why Kelley Wolf Was Placed Under Psychiatric Hold

Scott filed the TRO weeks after Kelley was first placed under an involuntary 5150 psychiatric hold. The incident occurred on June 13 after she called authorities to her Utah residence, claiming she did not feel safe in her brother-in-law's presence.

Kelley noted her brother-in-law was there to help with her children; however, he and her son had allegedly ganged up against her. “I am shaking, terrified, and I need help. I want to enter the home, and they are blocking my entrance to the home. What do I do?” she told dispatch.

Despite her claims, when authorities arrived and investigated the situation, they deemed Kelley the problem. Someone at her home allegedly claimed she attempted to strangle them on March 6, 2025. She was placed on a second psychiatric hold on July 6 for an alleged knife-linked incident.

According to The Blast, a 911 call was made at Scott's Utah home and seemed linked to his problems with Kelley. The male caller, presumably the actor, claimed his estranged wife might show up at the Park City residence he shared with his children.

The man had reason to believe his ex would cause a scene, claiming she had caught wind of her arrival plans. “She knew what flight we were gonna be on,” he alleged. The 911 call was placed a month before Scott was granted temporary sole physical and legal custody of his three children.

Scott was made responsible for the former couple's finances and agreed to pay Kelley $10,000 monthly to cover her living expenses. Additionally, he was ordered to foot the bills fit his estranged wife's car payments, minimum credit card obligations, and select attorney fees.
