Brooke Hogan Opens Up About Losing Hulk Hogan In Heartbreaking Tribute

Brooke Hogan has now broken her silence following the devastating loss of her father, wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, who passed away at the age of 71.

Her emotional words came following an insider's revelation that Hulk died with a broken heart because of their strained relationship.

Brooke shared a moving statement that revealed her private connection with her father.

“My dad’s blood runs through my veins,” she wrote in a tribute posted on Instagram. “His eyes shine through my children. And our bond has never broken, not even in his final moments. We had a connection deeper than words, one that spanned lifetimes.”

She emphasized that her father was far more than the wrestling persona the world saw.

She wrote, “I am so grateful that I knew the real version of him. Not just the one the world viewed through a carefully curated lens. We shared a quiet, sacred bond, one that could be seen and felt by anyone who witnessed us together.”

Brooke revealed that she felt her father’s passing before the news even reached her.

“When he left this earth, it felt like part of my spirit left with him. I felt it before the news even reached us,” she said.

She recalled his comforting words that carried her through the darkest hours. “He used to remind me, ‘All of this is temporary and I’ll always find my way back to you.’ I truly believe that — we will find each other in every lifetime.”

According to Brooke, her father often spoke about death with hope, viewing it not as an ending but as a victory.

“I know he’s at peace now, out of pain, and in a place as beautiful as he imagined. He used to speak about this moment with such wonder and hope. Like meeting God was the greatest championship he’d ever have,” she wrote.

While the world remembers Hulk Hogan as a powerhouse inside the wrestling ring, Brooke cherishes memories of him simply being “Dad.”

She recounted moments that painted him as a loving father, including watching him “build my Barbie dream houses” and enjoying carefree days on jet skis together.

“His hugs were my home. Wrapping my arms around him always made me feel like his little girl, even as I grew up,” she wrote.

That love lives on in the next generation as Brooke revealed that she named one of her twin daughters, Molly Gene, in honor of her father.

She shared, “I feel his presence in my children. He lives through me, and through them. The greatest gift a father could ever give — A love that goes on… long after we’re gone.”

Speculation about father and daughter drifting apart over the years has been the subject of many tabloid headlines.

However, Brooke was quick to set the record straight. “My father and I never ‘fought.’ It was a series of private phone calls no one will ever hear, know, or understand,” she explained.

Brooke revealed that after she and her husband, former NHL player Steven Oleksy, moved to Florida to be closer to her father, Hulk pulled away as he struggled with health issues in private.

“Everything started getting covered in a thick veil,” she admitted. “It was like there was a force field around him that I couldn’t get through.”

Despite those painful boundaries, Brooke stressed that what mattered most were the years they shared openly.

She said, “All I ever wanted from my father was love, honesty and a deep connection. And for a few special years, I had that — with memories that will last a lifetime. My world is forever changed. But I’m deeply blessed with a loving husband and two beautiful children who remind me every day of life’s greatest gifts.”

As the outpouring of tributes continues from around the world, Brooke expressed gratitude for the support flooding in from fans and friends of her late father.

“I’m deeply grateful for the love, tributes, and memorials from his fans and friends. His life was one worth celebrating — and always will be,” she said.

Her husband, Steven Oleksy, also spoke on behalf of the family, urging privacy. “We are grieving and processing privately and ask for the respect to do so. If you see or hear something it did not come from us. There are many disturbing AI videos circulating that do not represent our family, feelings or opinions,” he said on Instagram Stories.

In another post, Brooke shared a video montage of some of the beautiful memories she shared with her dad.

In the post's caption, she wrote, "My Dearest Daddy, You were my everything, and I will always be your girl. I am PROUD to be your daughter—for all the love, light, and goodness you brought into this world. Thank you for choosing me in this lifetime, and for loving me so deeply."
