Jennifer Aniston's Rumored Boyfriend's Ex Reveals Why She Ditched The Hypnotist

Weeks after Jennifer Aniston was rumored to be dating life coach Jim Curtis, following their reported outing in Mallorca, Spain, a candid revelation has been made about the actress's new man.

An ex-girlfriend of Curtis has come forward with revelations about him and why she suddenly ended their relationship years ago.

According to her, Curtis is everything a woman would hope for, and now, it appears that Aniston might just be in safe hands.

Fans have been eager to know about Curtis's personality since he was captured with Jennifer Aniston earlier in July 2025.

Recently, Curtis's former girlfriend, Alyssa Pettinato, opened up about her time with the hypnotist and the reasons behind their romance's end.

"We went on a few dates. He's just a nice guy," she told the Daily Mail, noting that she "ghosted" him.

Although Petinatto said she ghosted Curtis, she clarified that the breakup was her fault.

"We didn't work out. It's my fault. But he's a good guy. I think he's definitely a really great guy. I think he would be a fantastic partner to somebody," she explained.

Pettinato continued with the compliments, describing Curtis as "unproblematic" and "the type of person that can get along with most people."

She also said he was "calm," "pragmatic," "mindful," and someone who's "easy to have a conversation with."

Besides his charming personality, Pettinato also went into detail about Curtis's physical attributes.

She likened her ex to John Stamos's character on the hit sitcom "Full House," noting, "He's got a nice face. He is a successful guy. He is really smart. I think that a lot of women are drawn to that."

Pettinato then recalled her conversation with Curtis when he appeared on an episode of her podcast, "Missjudged," in December 2024.

She revealed she had inquired about his relationship status, but Curtis evaded the question.

"Basically, we did the episode about men being masculine, standing in their masculinity when they're leaving a relationship - basically don't be a cuck about it. And we talked about, 'Hey, what's your situation?' And he just was obscure, so I have no idea still to this day what's going on," Pettinato said.

The 37-year-old also shared her thoughts on Jim Curtis's rumored relationship with Aniston.

While nothing has been confirmed, Pettinato said the rumor was "not surprising," adding that the actress was "such a step up."

She hinted at the duo's similar "Greek" culture being a reason behind their rumored relationship.

"Well, I don't know [Aniston] personally, but I do know that we share a commonality of being Greek. So I'm sure that's a common ground. If they are together, you know, culture is strong," Pettinato explained.

Most importantly, she made it clear that she had no issues with Curtis and would remain supportive of any new relationships.

"Any relationship that he gets in, I would just be on the sidelines cheering him on and just giving him the best. I mean, everyone deserves love, especially people that come from divorce," she said.

Aniston's connection with Curtis didn't just happen overnight; it has been quietly building over time.

A source told PEOPLE that the two reportedly met through a mutual friend and that Aniston was drawn to Curtis after reading his book.

"They've been seeing each other for a few months now. They were introduced by a friend and started out as friends. Jen had read his book and was familiar with his work. She's really into self-help and wellness," they said.

By May 2025, fans noticed a subtle spark when Curtis and Aniston liked some of each other's social posts.

Not long after, the pair were spotted dining together in Northern California, and by July, they were photographed looking cozy during a yacht trip in Mallorca alongside Jason Bateman and Amanda Anka.

It's been nearly a month since romance rumors began swirling, and sources have confirmed that Aniston and Curtis are happy together.

Earlier, a source revealed to the Daily Mail that the movie star is "very happy" with her love life and is "taking things slowly" with Curtis.
