Law Roach Reveals Why Zendaya And Tom Holland Are Not Rushing To The Altar

Zendaya and Tom Holland might be Hollywood's golden couple, but don't expect wedding bells just yet.

While fans have been buzzing about their engagement and hoping for a big wedding reveal, Zendaya's longtime stylist and close friend Law Roach just set the record straight.

According to him, the couple isn't in any rush to walk down the aisle, and it is not because of doubts. Between busy film schedules and their strong desire to keep things private, the lovebirds are choosing love on their own terms.

On July 17, Zendaya's stylist graced the red carpet at the Las Culturistas Culture Awards in Los Angeles.

At the event, Roach shared a surprising update about Zendaya and Tom's wedding plans.

"The process hasn't even started yet," he exclusively told E! News.

Roach revealed that the "Euphoria" actress is currently shooting the next installment of "Dune" and that she has so many films lined up.

"Zendaya is working on so many movies. She's now filming the next iteration of Dune, so she's away doing that. It's so many movies, so we have time. We have a lot of time," the stylist explained.

Roach also hinted at the kind of bride Zendaya will be on her big day, revealing that she'll be a "secret bride."

Despite the slow pace of the wedding plans, Roach reaffirmed his belief in the couple's beautiful bond.

"I'm really excited because I know they really love each other and they have for a long time," the 47-year-old stated. "The fact that the world has been able to share in that love story, I think it's really beautiful."

Besides being excited about the Hollywood stars' love story, Roach also expressed excitement about seeing Zendaya and Tom team up in the upcoming epic "The Odyssey."

He told the outlet, "Two people I really care about—actually three people I really care about a lot—are in that film. Zendaya, of course, Tom Holland, and also Anne Hathaway, who I worked with previously. I'm really excited to see my close family and my extended family all in this wonderful movie."

Although Roach has chosen to remain tight-lipped about details of Zendaya and Tom's wedding, he has confirmed that he will be involved in the wedding.

At the Fashion Trust Awards in April 2025, E! News asked the stylist if he would help out with the wedding dress. "Of course," he simply responded.

However, Roach clarified once again that Zendaya and Tom won't be getting married soon.

"It's far away. They're both doing a bunch of movies this year, and there's a lot of premieres next year," Roach said.

He ended on a teasing note, adding that while we'll "see a lot of red carpets," he will be "resting up for 2026."

Roach's interview came three months after media outlets confirmed Zendaya and Tom's engagement in January, after the actress was spotted wearing an engagement ring at the 2025 Golden Globes.

At the time, sources told Page Six that the engagement came as a surprise to Zendaya, despite her having previously discussed marriage with the actor.

"Tom and Zendaya had discussed marriage over the years, but Zendaya had no idea he was planning to propose," the insider revealed. "They both value their privacy, so the proposal was something Tom wanted to keep private as well."

The source also revealed that both families were thrilled to become in-laws.

"Tom and Zendaya's families are ecstatic. Zendaya's mom and sisters can't wait to start planning with her," they stated.

Following the engagement, Tom's father, Dominic Holland, revealed that his son had approached the proposal in a traditional manner.

"Tom, as you know by now, was very incredibly well prepared. He had purchased a ring. He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter," Dominic shared.

He then recalled his engagement to Tom's mom, Nikki Holland, admitting that it was "nothing like my eldest son, who has obviously watched all the slushy movies because growing up I never saw him reading a book."

Most importantly, Dominic revealed he was confident in Tom and Zendaya's bond, despite the heightened scrutiny due to their combined stardom.

"And even though show-business is a messy place for relationships and particularly so for famous couples as they crash and burn in public and are too numerous to mention … I am completely confident they will make a successful union," he said.
