Coldplay's kiss cam is back, and this time, it's caught a global sports icon.
During the final U.S. stop of Coldplay's "Music of the Spheres World Tour" on Sunday, July 27, none other than Lionel Messi and his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, found themselves on the big screen at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, and fans lost it.
The soccer legend and his longtime love were spotlighted during the show as Coldplay frontman Chris Martin serenaded them from the stage.
Lionel Messi And Wife Steal The Show On Coldplay's Kiss Cam

"Well, Lio, my beautiful brother, you and your wife are looking so fine," Martin sang sweetly, per PEOPLE. "Thanks for coming today to see our band play, the No. 1 sportsperson of all time."
The couple, who've been married since 2017, attended the concert with their three sons and later shared a wholesome Instagram carousel from the evening. The post, simply captioned "Coldplay," featured the family posing in a VIP area with the glowing stadium in the background.
The final shot showed Lionel and Antonela beaming in a close-up selfie, proving even sports royalty love a good date night. Fans inside the stadium went wild when they realized who was in attendance, erupting into chants of "Messi! Messi!" as the kiss cam zoomed in on the couple.
Fans on social media also couldn't get enough of the wholesome moment.
"Leo …..We saw you both on the big screen, that's so cute," one fan gushed, while another joked, "At least someone went with their own wife. Good," taking a playful jab at the kiss cam drama that rocked Coldplay's last show.
Of course, Coldplay's kiss cam has already been making headlines this month, but for far more scandalous reasons.
Kiss Cam Sparks Scandal After Catching CEO Getting Cozy With HR Chief

Just weeks before Lionel Messi and his wife Antonela melted hearts on the big screen, the band's concert at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, turned into a public relations nightmare for a tech executive and his colleague, after the kiss cam exposed what appeared to be much more than an innocent embrace.
During the July 16 show, the camera panned to a couple in the audience getting a little too cozy. The moment seemed lighthearted at first, until both individuals realized they were being broadcast to tens of thousands in the stadium, and, eventually, millions online.
As frontman Chris Martin jokingly called them out with a casual "Oh, look at these two," the man awkwardly ducked behind a barrier while the woman quickly covered her face.
Internet Sleuths Unmask Coldplay Kiss Cam Couple

It didn't take long for internet sleuths to identify the duo: Andy Byron, CEO of Cincinnati-based software company Astronomer, and Kristin Cabot, the company's Director of Human Resources. Both are married, but not to each other, and both have children.
The kiss cam clip went viral almost instantly, sparking widespread backlash and speculation about a workplace affair. Social media users expressed sympathy for Byron's wife, Megan, who quietly deleted her Facebook account and removed her husband's last name from her profile shortly after the video surfaced.
Byron later scrubbed his own social media presence as the firestorm intensified.
A-Lister Joins Astronomer As 'Spokesperson' After Viral Affair Scandal

As the news continues to go viral, Gwyneth Paltrow joined in on the fun, trading wellness for damage control.
The Oscar-winning actress made a surprise appearance this week on Astronomer's official LinkedIn page, stepping in as a "temporary spokesperson" in a tongue-in-cheek video aimed at cleaning up the company's public image following a headline-making scandal.
The tech company has recruited Paltrow to help redirect the narrative. In the video, the Iron Man star keeps things light, joking about not knowing what an Astronomer does, but insisting it's "definitely not relationship advice."
Astronomer's Ex-CEO Caught In $40K Scandal With Adult Content Creator

According to screenshots allegedly shared by Byron's wife, Megan Kerrigan, the former tech exec was also involved in a secret online relationship with OnlyFans creator Sophie Rain, reportedly spending up to $40,000 on explicit video calls.
The messages, allegedly sent via a Finsta account (a private, secondary Instagram handle), suggest Byron had been in contact with Rain, a rising content creator and member of the influencer mansion Bop House, for months.
Kerrigan, who has since wiped Byron's last name from her social media and deleted her Facebook page, reportedly leaked the messages after the kiss cam clip went viral. The latest bombshell has only fueled the backlash, with critics now slamming Byron not just for a workplace affair, but for an alleged double life funded by tens of thousands in adult content payments.
