Lively's brand promotion followed the postponement of her highly anticipated deposition in the legal drama. The Blast reported that she was scheduled to be deposed by Justin's team on July 17; however, the deposition was rescheduled for July 31.

The deposition's postponement stemmed from the removal of social media personality Jed Wallace from the lawsuit due to jurisdictional reasons. The content creator was dismissed without prejudice, allowing Lively to refile a motion for his inclusion if she wanted.

However, a rep for the actress claimed she wouldn't take that route because she respected the court's decision. Additionally, sources claimed that Lively and Justin agreed to the deposition's postponement to allow their legal teams to prepare more effectively.
