Shailene Woodley Says She Skipped 'Many Dating Steps' With Aaron Rodgers

Shailene Woodley is an incredible actress, whom fans may know from the teen series, “The Secret Life of the American Teenager.” 

After this series wrapped up in 2013, she went on to star in other amazing blockbuster movies, and earned a name for herself in the film industry. 

The “Divergent” actress recently disclosed that she was engaged to NFL quarterback, Aaron Rodgers. 

Although fans were skeptical about the timing, it seems like the actress is well aware of how rushed fans perceive her  relationship to be.

People often say that when you meet the love of your life, you do not wait one more second. Woodley recently opened up about how everything in her relationship happened in a jiffy from the moment she said yes. 

During a sit-down on “The Tonight Show,” she explained to  Jimmy Fallon that the pandemic played a huge role in pushing her romance forward. 

She noted that in no time, she moved in with Rodgers, and they could not even find the time to go on a date. 

“I still have never been to a football game because we met during this wacky, wacky time, snd all of the stadiums were closed,” she said.

This has been the question bugging fans for months now, or since the pair revealed that they were engaged. 

From what online sources could reveal, the duo were in a relationship with other people at the beginning of 2020. 

However, E! Newsreported that they each broke up with their partners, and Rodgers shared a cryptic post about his new romance in September 2020. 

Although fans are not certain about the time that the duo first got together, they know that it was sometime between August and September 2020.

Per Woodley’s explanation to Fallon, she not only got engaged to the NFL player within a few months, they decided to take things a step forward. 

Like many concealed events between the couple, fans are not certain about the time they moved in together. 

This is because the pair did not take and post any selfies together, save for an 8 minutes, 48 seconds video that Rodgers posted on his Instagram page almost three months ago. 

In the video, the couple were being goofy, as they laid down on a brown couch, speaking to their fans about the iconic gameshow “Jeopardy,” which Rodgers served as a guest host for.

Unlike his publicized previous relationship with NASCAR driver, Danica Patrick, Rodgers was secretive about the details of his romance with Woodley .

Although many supported were excited for the couple, some of Woodley’s fans could not bear the thought of the NFL player trying to hide their relationship. 

Some Instagram users wondered why the player refused to post a single photo with the actress, whereas, he still had photos of his ex lover on his page. 

While all these may have been taken into account by the couple, they seem very content with their relationship, and are happy as ever. 

So, it seems the pandemic relationship was not all that bad!
