“Hangman” Adam Page is on his way to becoming one of AEW’s top stars. The 29-year-old Virginia native’s wrestling journey is quite impressive. After graduating from college, Page took a job as a high-school teacher. However, his true love was wrestling. Page would continue to teach, while also pursuing his wrestling dream on the side.
In 2011, he received a big break when he joined Ring of Honor, one of the top independent promotions. Page won over audiences and soon his work took him to New Japan Pro-Wrestling, where he’d work with Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega, and The Young Bucks. In 2019, he was announced as a signee for AEW, where he’s quickly became a fan favorite with his lonesome, drunken cowboy gimmick.
His Personal Life

With Page being in the spotlight, many wrestling fans are curious about his personal life. Page and his wife Amanda married in 2016. Not much is known about Page’s wife. Unlike her famous husband, Amanda tends to stay out of the limelight.
The couple lives in a farm in Virginia with their pups. Although, the couple are known to be private, Page does occasionally post photos of his wife. Recently, Page and Amanda had some news to share, one that he shared with his 152,000 Instagram followers.
Baby Makes Three

Aside from wrestling training, Page is going to have be prepped for diaper duty. The former AEW World Tag Team Champion and his wife are going to be parents. News of Page’s impending fatherhood began during the Double or Nothing PPV on May 30th.
After the show, AEW founder Tony Khan held a press conference. During the session, Khan let it slip that Page’s pregnant wife was in attendance. Days later, Page confirmed the news with an Instagram post. The wrestler posted the sonogram photo, then wrote a sweet and straightforward caption, “hey we got a baby on the way! we’re excited, terrified, but mostly overjoyed. thank you.”
Other AEW Dads

Page will soon join other AEW co-workers in becoming first-time dads. Former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley and his wife Renee Paquette are awaiting the arrival of their daughter, who’s due any day now. Meanwhile, Page’s friend and AEW executive Cody Rhodes is also gearing up for fatherhood. Rhodes and his wife Brandi are expecting a baby girl due in July.
Aside from Moxley and Rhodes, Page will also have his friends Nick and Matt Jackson to rely on for advice. Nick is a father of three kids, while Matt has two. With many years of experience, they’ll have plenty of tips to dish out to the father-to-be.
Big Year For Page

2021 is shaping up to be a huge year for Page. Aside from having a baby on the way, the star’s in line for a big push from AEW. Page is a one of AEW’s most popular stars, and the company may be ready to capitalize on that.
Speculation is that Page will be the one to dethrone current AEW World Champion Kenny Omega. The two have a heated history, which began after losing the tag titles last year. With the All Out PPV coming up on September 5th, many feel this is the perfect time to the two men face off, and have Page crowned the new champion.
