Caitlyn Jenner Sparks Fears Of Never-ending 'Despair' After Pal Sophia Hutchins' Death

The Olympic gold medalist is reportedly on the verge of an emotional crisis after weeks of taking her manager and friend's loss on the chin, and trying to put on a brave face.

Caitlyn Jenner lost Sophia Hutchin to a nasty accident that happened in her vicinity. The manager's ATV was found in a deep ditch after it rear-ended another vehicle and swerved off the road.

The 75-year-old and Sophia became each other's confidants through fate, and now that she is gone, Caitlyn is reportedly having a tough time moving on. While various support systems have sprung up to help Caitlyn get back on her feet, she still feels lonely and miserable without Sophia's warmth around her.

Caitlyn is allegedly close to emotional collapse as she has lost the only person she could rely on and trust to have her back. The duo reportedly held each other in the "strictest confidence," prompting fears that Caitlyn "might never recover from her despair."

Caitlyn and Sophia met during the former reality TV star's transition in 2015, and since then, they have remained close friends, colleagues, and almost like family. Sophia has described Caitlyn as an inspiration who helped her settle into her truth as a transgender woman.

Per RadarOnline, the late manager was pronounced dead at the scene of her quad bike's unfortunate fall into a 350-foot deep ravine near her boss's Californian mansion.

In a report by The Blast, Caitlyn and her late manager's family, specifically her mother, were spotted running errands together a few days after she died. Sophia's mother quietly trailed behind a sad-looking Caitlyn during the Malibu outing.

Before her outing with Sophia's mom, Caitlyn had previously stepped out to grab coffee, sharing a few words with interviewers about the impact of her manager's passing.

According to the former Olympian, Sophia's death has brought her closer to very tough times, noting that it would be best for her to remain silent on the heartbreaking topic.

The Pepperdine University alum began working with Caitlyn as her manager in 2017 after her ex-wife, Kris Jenner, stepped aside from the role following their divorce.

Caitlyn and Sophia's closeness quickly generated rumors of a possible romantic connection, as they often went everywhere together. The 29-year-old even became friends with Kendall and Kylie Jenner and featured in an ad for Kim Kardashian's brand, SKIMS.

The 29-year-old also lived with the former Olympian up until her death, a fact that further fueled the rumor. However, Sophia clarified on more than one occasion that she sees Caitlyn as a parent to her more than anything.

She added that they are also business partners who are equally invested in each other's growth and share aligned goals. Sophia and the Olympic gold medalist met through a mutual hairstylist in 2015 during a collab shoot between Caitlyn and Mac Cosmetics.

Aside from Sophia's death, another personal issue that Caitlyn has been dealing with is her complicated relationship with Kris Jenner. The Blast shared that the duo has remained in a toxic cycle since their divorce, recently escalated by her role in the "House of Kardashian" documentary.

The former E! Television star has attempted to reach out to the mogul and their children to resolve the issue, but to no avail. She is reportedly planning to utilize her goodwill with Kim to finally create a channel for reconciliation.

The mother of four had provided a glimmer of hope for Caitlyn last year when she wished the former athlete a happy birthday. Beyond that, Caitlyn also regrets how they left things between them, especially after admitting that Kris found out about her transition from E! executives rather than her.

The former TV star sure had a lot to say in the documentary, including her state of mind when Kim's sex tape leaked and sent the entire family into a frenzy. Caitlyn expressed that while the drama unfolded, the only thing on her mind was how to escape to a place of silence.

She recalled Kris keeping her in the dark about the tape, and Kimberly not addressing any of the issues with her, which led to her decision to stay out of the picture entirely.

Kim's private video with singer Ray J caused a stir on the internet when it was released in 2007. The company that distributed it explained that it had purchased the item from a third party for $1 million.

The SKIMS founder eventually sued the company for invasion of privacy and profits gained from ownership of the tape.
