24-year-old gymnast, Simone Biles just vaulted over every troll comment on Instagram by clinching gold at the 2021 U.S. Gymnastics Championship on Sunday making it her 7th national championship.
The world champion got the all-around gold after winning vault, balance beam, and floor routine, with training mate Jordan Chiles ranking in third and Sunisa Lee placed second.
While Biles seemed confident all along, her Instagram pictures were sending trolls into a tizzy. Today, they can eat their hat! Here’s the DL…
Loving Does Not Equal Training, Say Trolls
Simone’s relationship with boyfriend Jonathan Owens, who plays as a safety for the Houston Texans, is heating up and cute PDA pictures like this on her social media often get all sorts of cute comments.
On the flipside are the trolls, who wonder if this is the right way to go about winning more medals.
Wrote one, “Ma’am this does not look like preparation for the Olympics 🤨😳” but then again, it’s not as if the trolls were up and about making their country proud, right?
And How Can She Drink Too?
Simone posted another picture of hers, this one showing her drinking down what seems to be salt and lemon-encrusted cocktails with a friend, and the trolls stepped out again.
This time, it seemed to be a backhanded compliment, “So amazing that you can drink and train and be the greatest of all time. Wow!”
It’s not as if she drinks and goes to train, though. Gymnasts can take a vacation and off days too, you know!
Because all work and no play makes Simone a dull girl!
Superhuman? You Bet
Honestly, it does not seem like the Avengers have anything on Simone Biles, especially the way she seems to fly through the air…
As one fan said it right, “Literally how are you that high”?
And even more, the all-black girls’ team also seemed to be generating some intense feelings in the fans as one wrote, “Omg so proud of the team made of just black woman! So empowering! Means so much”…
Clearly, Biles is the Wonder Woman of gymnastics and her win just proved it…
Skipped The Yurchenko, Though
For the mains, Biles wore a custom leotard, this one with a rhinestone goat design on her arm, probably because she is the GOAT, as in the greatest of all time.
And while she did not do the Yurchenko Double Pike, what she did was enough to win her the title, and for fans to say, “You did amazing and the triple double was absolute perfection 😌🙏🏽💯”.
For others, this was merely an appetizer, as they said, “Beautiful so happy to see soon in the Olympics”…
