Miley Cyrus Delivers Turkey Clap-Back In Statement Underwear

Miley Cyrus this weekend politely reminded her Instagram followers that hurtful comments still sting, even when it's been nearly a decade. The 28-year-old singer didn't need to mention the 2013 VMAs as she stripped down to underwear for a clap-back, with the story also seeing the "Prisoner" hit-maker reveal a vulnerable edge, all this despite her posing with a backside show. Miley was, back in 2013, likened to a turkey as she twerked in a latex two-piece on stage. She hasn't forgotten it, and her reminder is below.

The former "Hannah Montana" star, who debuted her high-cut black bodysuit underwear to remind fans of her Summerfest 2021 appearance, posted via a permanent update to begin with. She was writhing around in the outfit, writing: "Made ya look. Now buy tickets to Summerfest."

Next came a moment from the heart, plus a little humor from the girl who knows how to dish it out. Miley made it a rear view in her thong getup, and there was plenty of caption action.

Miley, showing off her tattoos and quite a lot of skin as she posed indoors, made her statement underwear the visual, but there was more as the singer told her fans: "Ya'll scarred me w that turkey bs." She added "GOBBLE GOBBLE" and "CHICKEN BUTT" in text, even throwing in a skeleton holding up a cartoon chicken.

Speaking candidly to "Sorry Not Sorry" singer Demi Lovato and in front of millions, the daughter to "Achy Breaky Heart" singer Billy Ray Cyrus revealed:

“I basically went through two or three years where I wouldn’t wear shorts. I stopped wearing skirts on stage, all this s— because after the VMAs and I had on my cute little nude bodysuit, everyone started comparing me to a turkey and putting a turkey in my outfit.”

The "Wrecking Ball" hit-maker continued: "I was just so skinny and so pasty and they kept putting me next to this turkey, and I was feeling so bad on myself that I did not wear a bikini for like two years and no one thought that that would ever made me feel some type of way.”
