Chrissy Teigen made her return to Instagram, but it wasn’t a triumphant one.
The 35-year-old posed for a picture with her daughter, Luna, and her mother on Saturday, June 5. John Legend shared the picture as the family celebrated Luna’s first dance recital. Teigen has been absent from all social media since the Courtney Stodden bullying scandal came to light, but the proud parents marked the dancing milestone with a few memories and shared them with the fans.

Earlier in the day, Legend shared a smiling photo as Luna prepared for her first show. “Ready for her first dance recital!” he excitedly captioned the pic. The 5-year-old looked happy and pretty in a sequined red dress. Later on, Luna’s mom held on tight for John’s quick pic. “So proud of our little dancer!” he wrote.
A few of the couple’s famous friends sounded off in the comments section of John’s post. “She’s getting so big!” Gwyenth Paltrow wrote, while DJ D-Nice said, “What a beauty!!!”
Many of John’s followers clamored for Teigen to make a full comeback on social media. “😍😍😍😍beautiful! Miss you Chrissy on IG!!! 😍😍” one fan commented. Another said, “❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Nice photo. Also, we miss Chrissy on IG. Being her back pls.”
Teigen has been put through the public scrutiny ringer since Stodden revealed the extreme online bullying she received from Chrissy when she was just 16-years-old. Courtney claimed that the celebrity told her to take her own life. Teigen issued an apology and has been losing gigs and sponsorship deals ever since.
“Not a lot of people are lucky enough to be held accountable for all their past bulls–t in front of the entire world. I’m mortified and sad at who I used to be. I was an insecure, attention seeking troll,” Chrissy Tweeted on May 12 . “I am ashamed and completely embarrassed at my behavior but that is nothing compared to how I made Courtney feel.”
Stodden accepted her apology but hinted that it wasn’t sincere. “I accept her apology and forgive her. But the truth remains the same, I have never heard from her or her camp in private,” Courtney claimed. “In fact, she blocked me on Twitter.”
She continued, “All of me wants to believe this is a sincere apology, but it feels like a public attempt to save her partnerships with Target and other brands who are realizing her ‘wokeness’ is a broken record.”
Teigen most recently dropped out of Netflix’s “Never Have I Ever.”
