Snoop Dogg just went from rap icon to “employee of the month," and fans are lovin’ it.
In a surprise appearance at a Raising Cane’s restaurant in Las Vegas this week, Snoop hopped behind the counter and into the Drive-Thru window to celebrate the upcoming National Chicken Finger Day on Sunday, July 27.
Snoop Dogg served up Chicken Fingers, Cane’s Sauce, and plenty of swagger while greeting fans, bagging orders, and even handing out copies of his new album "Iz It A Crime?"
Snoop Dogg Shocks Fans At Cane’s Drive-Thru

Customers in the Drive-Thru were stunned to see the hip-hop legend sliding into his shift like a pro, cracking jokes, filling drinks, and posing for selfies with fans as he worked the counter. And yes, his French Bulldog puppy, Baby Boy Broadus, was on hand for moral support.
“Hey, my name is Big Snoop Dogg, and I am the employee of the month,” he declared at the top of his shift. “And you know what I’m gonna do today? I’m giving away an extra chicken finger in each meal.” He then added with a wink, “You better not tell my boss, Todd!”
From the Drive-Thru to the counter, Snoop was all smiles as he interacted with shocked customers, making sure everyone left with a box of crispy chicken and a little bit of Snoop style.
“What you need?” he asked one fan pulling up in the Drive-Thru. “Let me get a box combo,” the fan replied. “My mom is a big fan.”
Without missing a beat, Snoop grinned and said, “I’m a fan of hers!”
Snoop And Todd Graves Make National Chicken Finger Day A Deal To Remember

On Sunday, July 27, every purchase of a Box Combo, whether in-restaurant, via app, online, or Drive-Thru, will come with a FREE Chicken Finger. No code, no catch, just more crispy goodness for everyone.
“You know I had to show up for my boy Todd!” Snoop Dogg said.
That “boy” is Raising Cane’s founder and CEO Todd Graves, who joined Snoop in a nationwide campaign to make this the biggest National Chicken Finger Day yet.
“Todd Graves always shows up for me and is like family to me. I like giving back and I like Chicken Fingers. I order like seventeen of them, so I wanted to support him and his holiday,” Snoop said in a press release sent to The Blast. “We have a great relationship, so it’s really cool to be here. Happy National Chicken Finger Day, y’all!”
A Flavorful Friendship Years In The Making

Snoop Dogg’s connection with Raising Cane’s runs deep, and it’s more than just about chicken.
Over the years, he’s become a familiar face within the brand, showing up for major campaigns, community efforts, and on-screen collabs that highlight his long-standing bond with founder Todd Graves.
It all started with a surprise Drive-Thru appearance in Arkansas to kick off the brand’s Drive-Thru Comedy series. From there, Snoop teamed up with Graves for the Discovery+ show "Restaurant Recovery" and the A&E series "Secret Sauce," where the duo shared stories about business, resilience, and giving back.
Snoop And Todd Graves Keep The Partnership Strong

In 2024, Graves even made a cameo in "The Underdoggs," a Prime Video exclusive starring Snoop Dogg as a youth football coach.
Off-screen, their shared commitment to community continued, with Graves donating $100,000 to The Snoop Youth Football League to support inner-city youth football and cheer programs.
They took the stage together again in 2025 at Cane’s Canecun conference in Mexico, where they hosted a fireside chat on leadership, family, work ethic, and success.
Raising Cane’s Teams With Snoop Dogg For Biggest National Chicken Finger Day Yet

In Raising Cane’s latest national ad, Snoop Dogg can be seen soaring through the skies in a red Cadillac, raining down Chicken Fingers and Cane’s Sauce with holiday cheer. “To all a good bite!” the rapper says with a wink.
“This is the first time we’ve ever given an extra Chicken Finger to everybody, not just our Caniac Club,” Graves said. “It’s a huge deal, and Snoop brought the energy to match.”
“Snoop is a great friend of mine and we’ve partnered on a lot of things over the years,” Graves said. “From ‘Restaurant Recovery’ to the youth football league, we always have fun, and he always shows up for the Cane’s community.”
