Ozzy and dramatic are two peas in a pod, especially during his performance. As seen on The Blast, the singer pulled one of the most memorable and scary stunts in performance history when he bit off the head of a bat on a Des Moines stage in 1982.

The singer had created a culture of exchanging raw meat with his fans- at times, he would throw raw intestines into the crowd, who would in turn throw meat and other objects at him.

Despite the notion from people that Ozzy was crazy enough to bite through a bat without thinking twice, the singer clarified that it was not so simple. He revealed in his 2010 memoir that he initially thought the bat was not real, and he only knew he was wrong when he felt blood in his mouth.

He added that he panicked upon the realization. Still, the show went as planned, and he immediately rushed in to get anti-rabies medication at the hospital to avoid any complications.

Nearly a decade ago, the Prince of Darkness made up his mind that his music was the last thing he wanted to be played at his funeral.

He had earlier stressed that his funeral should be a celebration of life, not a sober ceremony; hence, some of his favorite songs from his favorite artists should blast through the speakers.

Specifically, Ozzy wanted the music menu at his funeral to honor the very band that shaped his musical journey. The rockstar stated that their hit track "She Loves You" inspired him to become a musician. He also looked forward to other songs from their albums being included on the list at his funeral.

Ozzy's kids reportedly surrounded him as he drew his last breath, tending to his needs in his expansive Buckinghamshire mansion.

Wishing Ozzy Osbourne's family all the strength to get through this harrowing time!
