Chris Hemsworth riled up his social media fans today after revealing what he now looks like on his Instagram page, and he was completely unrecognizable. 

The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Thor appeared to have been living in the gym while shooting his latest movie.

His sudden glow up attracted mixed reviews from his social media with reactions ranging from surprise to fear and worry. However, there were others who were completely smitten by the new look.

As filming wrapped up, the actor took to his Instagram page to share a image that had never been seen before.

The photo’s caption gave some details about the upcoming movie which is set to be released in 2022.

The movie is a sequel to 2017’s “Thor: Ragnarok” that centered on the Australian actors history and background.  Waititi described this film as a romance.

The actor actor may not have anticipated his followers’ reactions to this new look. Here’s some insight!

Hemsworth not only got comments from followers who were happy for him and sent congratulatory messages, but from those who were taken aback by his huge biceps.

The image, which was posted on his Instagram page about two days ago, has already garnered more than five million likes.

Hemsworth was casually dressed in a sleeveless top with black pants and held a black leather jacket in his right hand. 

As earlier stated, there was mixed reactions as fans were excited about the upcoming movie, but they did not anticipate the actor’s body build.

Here are some of the comment about how fans truly felt about the new look.

 “I reckon your arm is the size of my thigh,” a fan wrote.

“Jesus Christ i need to get  in shape,” another fan said in the comment section. 

Furthermore, a female user wrote about how stereotypical it is that male leads have to meet a particular standard for their bodies. She also cited that there are other body types not recognized in the industry.

In addition, the fan brought up other stars who have had similar cases where they broke down due to Hollywood’s outrageous standards.

Those who supported the tweet made examples of other popular celebrities like Hugh Jackman during his time as ‘Wolverine.

Also, fans mentioned Henry Cavil, who is popularly known as ‘Superman.’ He reportedly had to look a certain way while filming shirtless scenes 

This led to an intense dehydration for days. Other celebrities were also pin pointed in this area.

From the looks of it, Hemsworth’s fans are really proud of him and his achievements so far. However, they are not oblivious to the fact that people are treated differently in the movie industry.
