'Jersey Shore's' Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola Ditches Engagement Ring, Is It Over?

ALLLLRIGHT, we’ve got ourselves a situation!

Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola has ditched her engagement ring hinting at trouble in paradise.

The former "Jersey Shore" star has been turning heads all week after fans began speculating her engagement to Christian Biscardi might be on the outs.

The couple began dating in 2017 and got engaged 2019. Sammi and Christian were set to wed in September of 2020, but we all know how that year went!

Back in March 2019, Christian dropped down on one knee and asked Sammi to marry him.

She wrote in an Instagram post, “I’m completely overwhelmed with happiness. Yesterday was the best day of my life! I get to marry my other half, best friend and soulmate. ❤️ I look forward to spending the rest of my life with you @_biscardi I love you!!”

Christian shared similar sentiments to Sammi taking to his own Instagram account. He wrote, ““I am beyond excited to get to marry my best friend! Here’s to the future Mr. & Mrs. Biscardi. ”

Despite all of the ups and downs 2020 brought, it seems the couple couldn’t weather the storm any longer.

On Tuesday, June 1, Sammi caught fans off-guard when she unfollowed Christian on Instagram AND deleted all of her photos with him.

Christian followed suit and unfollowed Sammi on Instagram, as well as, deleted all photos with her.

In this lifetime, an ‘unfollow’ means things have come undone, and NOT in a good way. And you know things are REALLY BAD when someone takes the time to delete every trace of a former lover from their feed.

Dating in the 21st Century, you’re welcome.

Sammi furthered the breakup rumors on Wednesday, June 2, when she posted a video to her Instagram account showing off ring-free hands.

While demonstrating how to get the perfect tan with ‘Get Into The Limelight’ self-tanner, Sammi can be seen using the self-tanner on one arm and comparing it to the arm without tanner.

You can see she is NOT wearing any bling or rings on her fingers.

Now many people may speculate she ditched the ring for this demonstration because she didn’t want it to get dirty.

Fair assessment.

However, we must point out that when she went to put the self-tanner on her chest area, she brushes right over her diamond necklace. Not a care in the world it’s getting dirty.

That is a bit SUS if you ask us!

Another interesting aspect of this video is that she uses Ariana Grande’s “64+65” song over the video. If you’re unfamiliar with the song it’s about getting freaky in the sheets with another lover.

So, is this her dropping yet ANOTHER hint that she is single and ready to ‘64+65’ with someone other than Christian?!?

Hopefully Ronnie Ortiz-Magro doesn’t get wind of this and try to win her back; however, that would make for an epic plot twist on the new season of “Jersey Shore Family Vacation.”

Ronnie has left the show, but if Sammi returns, that could be a game changer.

The toxic couple famously dated from 2009 to 2012 They would fight constantly, breakup and then makeup. It was a major plotline throughout all of six seasons of the hit MTV show.
