In the wake of Ozzy Osbourne’s passing, fans are revisiting some of his most tender moments, including a surprise appearance on "The Talk" that left wife Sharon Osbourne and audiences in tears.

Originally aired in October 2016, the now-viral clip shows Ozzy walking onto the "The Talk" stage with flowers and a sparkling jewelry box in hand, all while his iconic track “Crazy Train” blasted in the background.

Sharon, who was celebrating her 64th birthday, was visibly moved as Ozzy Osbourne greeted her with a kiss and heartfelt “Happy birthday, darling.”

The moment held extra weight at the time, as the couple had only recently reconciled following a highly publicized split earlier that year.

Ozzy Osbourne's affair with celebrity hairstylist Michelle Pugh made headlines in May 2016, prompting Sharon to take a month-long hiatus from the show to focus on her mental and emotional health.

“I had a complete and utter breakdown,” Sharon candidly told Entertainment Tonight at the time. “I just couldn't cope with anything.”

Despite the turmoil, the two found their way back to each other.

Their love story began in the early 1970s, when Sharon, then just 18, met Ozzy while working for her father, music mogul Don Arden. After Ozzy Osbourne was fired from Black Sabbath, Sharon stepped in to manage his solo career, and soon, their professional relationship turned into something much more personal.

The two tied the knot in 1982 and went on to build a family together, raising three children, Aimee, Kelly, and Jack, while navigating the highs and lows of fame, addiction, and the spotlight. Through it all, Sharon remained a steady force behind the Prince of Darkness.

"I mean, I wasn't a saint. Ozzy wasn't a saint," she told PEOPLE a few years ago. "I gave him as good as he gave me. We're just meant to be."

Long before his passing on July 22, 2025, Ozzy Osbourne faced years of serious health struggles, and through it all, Sharon was his rock.

The rocker’s health began to decline in 2018 when he underwent emergency hand surgery due to a thumb infection. Just months later, he was hit with a severe upper respiratory infection that led to a dangerous fall at home, aggravating old injuries from a 2003 ATV accident and forcing him to cancel all of his 2019 performances.

In the years that followed, Ozzy Osbourne endured four spinal surgeries, the last in September 2023, as well as an ongoing battle with Parkinson’s disease, which he publicly revealed in 2020 but had actually been diagnosed with back in 2003.

Despite the physical and emotional toll, Sharon remained steadfast. In a candid 2022 interview with PEOPLE, Ozzy credited her unwavering support for helping him push through. “She has been the best,” he said. “My whole family has been so good.”
