A harrowing final chapter unfolded at Ozzy Osbourne's Buckinghamshire estate on the morning of July 22.
As his health deteriorated after a life in the spotlight, an air ambulance team raced to his side.
In a dramatic two-hour effort, medics worked tirelessly before the heavy metal legend passed away in the arms of his loved ones.
Air Ambulance Race To Save Ozzy Osbourne

An air ambulance from Thames Valley was scrambled to Ozzy's Grade II-listed mansion, Welders House, near Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire, around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
According to local reports, the helicopter landed on the sprawling grounds within 15 minutes after being dispatched from RAF Benson, some 27 miles away.
Paramedics spent approximately two hours trying to resuscitate the Black Sabbath frontman, "battling to save his life," before he died.
A resident, who asked to remain anonymous, described the tense scene, telling the Daily Mail, "I went out to have a look and saw that it was landing close to Ozzy's house. All of us were talking about it and wondering what had happened. We immediately feared it may be for him as he was known to be in fragile health."
Another local, Jane, confirmed what she saw, noting, "I was out walking when I saw the helicopter landing close to Welders and realised something serious was happening."
She added, "Ozzy Osbourne was quite a character and we'll miss him."
The helicopter took off again around 12:30 p.m. local time, leaving behind worried residents who had watched the dramatic rescue attempt.

The lifeflight crew that rushed to Ozzy Osbourne's estate was from Thames Valley Air Ambulance, a charity based at RAF Benson.
Operated entirely without government or NHS funding, the service relies wholly on donations.
Since 2018, the team has responded to over 20,000 emergency calls, averaging approximately nine missions daily in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and Oxfordshire.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Air Ambulance said, "We can confirm that our helicopter was dispatched to provide advanced critical care at an incident near Chalfont St Giles yesterday."
With only one helicopter serving the region, every mission carries life-or-death stakes, and on this solemn occasion, they fought valiantly to save rock royalty.
Inside Ozzy Osbourne's Fortress Of Solitude

Welders House, purchased by Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne in 1993, sits on a 350-acre estate and stood witness to his final days.
In preparation for his farewell tour and struggling health, the residence was renovated to include a dedicated rehab wing, swimming pool, and pond. His wife's meticulous planning ensured he could remain close to home even as his physical condition worsened.
Having just performed at Black Sabbath's reunion gig at Villa Park mere weeks earlier, Ozzy returned home.
It was in this serene, yet somber locale that the Prince of Darkness took his last breaths, highlighting the end of his storied yet increasingly vulnerable life.

Family Thought They Had More Time With Ozzy Osbourne

Ozzy's passing left his family devastated, with sources close to the Osbournes revealing the death came sooner than expected.
Despite his long battle with Parkinson's disease, loved ones held onto hope that he would be around "a lot longer."
"Ozzy was always meant to come back to Britain to live in Buckinghamshire; it was where Sharon had spent so long preparing their family home for him," a source told the Daily Mail. "There was much hope that he would be around for a lot longer than this, but at one point, there were fears they would not get him back from Los Angeles for the concert earlier this month."
The beloved rocker's family was by his side in his final days. His daughters, Aimee and Kelly, had flown in from Los Angeles, while his son, Jack, came from Idaho after attending Ozzy's farewell performance with Black Sabbath on July 5 at Villa Park.
"Kelly has been at the house a lot in the last week or so, so has Aimee. It is terribly sad for all of them; they really hoped he would be able to carry on for a bit longer," the insider added. "But it's so lovely that he had his children around him during his last days."
