Ozzy Osbourne's Death Reportedly Brought His 'Forgotten' Daughter Home

His loved ones announced his passing in a joint statement, with his "forgotten" daughter Aimee making a surprise appearance despite her distaste for the spotlight.

Ozzy Osbourne welcomed three children: Aimee, Kelly, and Jack during his second marriage to his music manager, Sharon Osbourne. He had two children, Jessica and Louis, with his first wife, Thelma Riley, and adopted her son, Elliot, from a previous relationship.

However, she and Kelly put aside their differences in Ozzy's final days, with an insider confirming they flew out from Los Angeles to care for their father in the UK.

"Kelly has been at the house a lot in the last week or so, so has Aimee. It is terribly sad for all of them, they really hoped he would be able to carry on for a bit longer. But it's so lovely that he had his children around him during his last days," the source said, per The Daily Mail.

Aimee's reunion with her family was further confirmed in Ozzy's death announcement. The Osbournes shared the tragic news on their Instagram page, dropping a picture from their farewell performance with the Black Sabbath band.

"It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning," the family began in the July 22 post. They added that the patriarch died "surrounded by love" and implored fans to respect their privacy.

The joint statement was signed "Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee, and Louis," revealing the "forgotten" Osbourne daughter had been a part of her father's final moments. Aimee's presence must have warmed Ozzy's heart as she was noticeably absent from his final performance on July 5.

Aimee's active participation in her father's final moments differed from her reaction to his farewell concert early this month. The Blast covered the story, reporting that she did not attend Ozzy's performance in Birmingham with the Black Sabbath band.

Sources alleged Aimee told friends she intentionally skipped the event because she "wanted to protect myself, my parents, my siblings, too." This wasn't the first time she had avoided the spotlight when it came to her family, as she had always wanted a future without their influence.

"Think of all the decades Sharon has been arranging shows for him; it has an ending for her, too; she's very broken up over it," the insider claimed. Despite her feelings, they noted Sharon was focused on ensuring everything went smoothly for her husband.

Ozzy's health was Sharon's biggest concern at the time, as his battle with Parkinson's disease had affected his mobility. "He can't really stand, it's been that way the past year, so it's a miracle that he's still going to perform," the source explained.
