Ozzy's death has definitely left a lot of heavy metal fans heartbroken, but what is more sad is reports that his final days were filled with profound suffering.

In a 2023 interview on "Piers Morgan Uncensored," the Grammy winner revealed that he was battling Parkinson's disease and other ailments, adding that the situation was an "absolute hell" for him.

"It's been five years of absolute hell for me and the family," he said, per the New York Post. "My family has been so supportive. I couldn't have done it without them. It's been really a bad scene."

The rocker added, "I have Parkinson's — but I never think about it."

Though fans knew Ozzy had suffered from tremors and was diagnosed with symptoms related to Parkinson's as far back as 2003, the singer didn't officially reveal the diagnosis until 2020.

For his interview with Morgan, Ozzy had his son, Jack, by his side, as well as his wife, Sharon, and daughter, Kelly.

Jack said on the show that the "biggest misconception" about his father's ailing health was that Parkinson's was his only health challenge.

"It's really the neck injury and the fall that he took," Jack said about Ozzy.

The Prince of Darkness fell and suffered a neck injury that required surgery back in 2019.

"I just got up and carried on, but I had broken my neck, and I carried on working with it until I had that fall, and then just everything came undone," Ozzy explained in the interview.

At the time, a rep for the singer announced that he was postponing all tour dates on his farewell "No More Tours II" concert tour after he sustained injuries from the fall.

In a 2020 interview on "Good Morning America," Ozzy opened up about the "terribly challenging" year he had due to his extensive recovery from surgery, as reported by USA Today.

"I had to have surgery on my neck, which screwed all my nerves in," he said at the time. "I've got numbness down this arm from the surgery. My legs feel cold. I don't know if that's Parkinson's or what. … It's a weird feeling."

Did Sharon Osbourne Have A 'Suicide Pact' With Her Husband?

Speculations are rife about the nature of Ozzy's death, even though his family announced that he died "surrounded by love" and in the presence of his family.

The side talks have seemingly been intensified by Sharon's claim that they had "come to the same decision" on having a suicide pact should either of them suffer a life-limiting condition.

"Ozzy and I have absolutely come to the same decision," she told The Mirror in 2007. "We believe 100% in euthanasia, so we have drawn up plans to go to the assisted suicide flat in Switzerland if we ever have an illness that affects our brains."

"If Ozzy or I ever got Alzheimer's, that's it – we'd be off," Sharon went on. "I saw my father suffer from the day he came back into my life in 2002 to the day he died in July. There's no way I could go through what he did, or put my kids through that."

The former "The Talk" co-host also mentioned her so-called euthanasia pact with the Black Sabbath front man in her 2007 memoir "Survivor: My Story — The Next Chapter."

During "The Osbournes" podcast in 2023, Sharon insisted that her "suicide pact" with Ozzy was "still a plan" for them.

Ozzy Osbourne's Daughter Kelly Debunked The Suicide Claims

Meanwhile, the couple's daughter, Kelly,  outrightly rejected her mom's claims, saying she did it to get "attention."

"Stop making articles or posts about how you think my parents are having a suicide pact," Kelly said in a video on her Instagram Story on July 11. "That was bullsh-t, my mom said to get attention one time. And my dad's not dying. Stop."

Kelly has always maintained that the alleged pact was illegitimate, and slammed an AI-generated video of her father saying he was "going to die" earlier this month.

"There's this video going around on social media, and it's supposed to be my dad, but it's AI," she said on social media. "It has a voice like my dad's, David Attenborough or something. And it starts out saying, 'I don't need a doctor to tell me that I'm going to die. I know I'm going to die.'"

She fumed, "What the f-ck is wrong with you people? Why would you spend your time making a video like this?"

Kelly added, "He's not dying. Yes, he has Parkinson's, and yes, his mobility is completely different than it used to be, but he's not dying. What is wrong with you?"

Meanwhile, funeral plans for the "War Pigs" rocker have not been revealed by his family, but he previously said he didn't want the occasion to be a sad time but an event to say "thanks."
