'RHONY' Star Heather Thomson Opens Up About Drama Surrounding Podcast Episode

Heather Thomson is looking back at the podcast episode she aired of herself and Carole Radziwill looking back at their time on "The Real Housewives of York City."
Nearly a year after recording the episode, Thomson spoke to Entertainment Tonight, saying that while she wasn't surprised that her cast mates brought up the show during filming on season 13, she was caught off-guard when her statements were misconstrued for the audience.
"I was taken aback by the fact that it was taken totally out of context and that it was... I call it the 'Housewives' grinder," Thomson explained.

"You take the information, you put it through the 'Housewives' grinder and you spit it out on the other side. It looks like nothing like it did going in. So, truth be told, the podcast was Carole and I reminiscing. I hope everybody listens about our experiences, seven years ago," Thomson stated.
According to Thomson, she never thought "in a million years" that she was going to be returning to "The Real Housewives of New York City" for season 13 at the time her podcast with Radziwill was taped. That said, nothing would have changed what she said.
Heather Thomson's Friendship With Luann de Lesseps Dissolved After Season Seven

"I wouldn't have changed anything, if I knew I was [returning]. My relationship with [Luann de Lesseps] was not existent. It crumbled after I left the show," Thomson admitted.
During her podcast, Thomson insinuated that the ladies of the show, which included de Lesseps, were using hard drugs during a cast trip, which they denied.
In addition to that, Thomson said that when it came to her time with de Lesseps on the show, de Lesseps often wanted her to lie and made her look like the guilty party when she refused.

"It is what it is," Thomson continued. "Luann and I aren't really friends. I mean, I wouldn't consider someone who I don't talk to -- in years -- friends. I was surprised, because we were friends. I thought we were friends, and what I found -- and I said it on the podcast and I said it on the show and I'll say it again -- that wasn't genuine on Luann's side. It was genuine on my side, but it wasn't genuine on her side."
Thomson went on to say that she felt a little "used" by the show.

"I got phone calls. People really wanted me to return. They didn't want me to leave. I never heard from Luann. So… it just shows you that she doesn't really give a s**t," Thomson noted.
