"I was always on Shia's side since day one. I knew she was dragging it out," this was an X user's comment following news of Twig's decision to let all her claims against LeBeouf go.

According to US Magazine, the singer's lawyer, Bryan Freedman, filed a request to dismiss all of his client's prior claims in the Superior Court of California with prejudice. This means the singer will not be able to refile the case in the future.

Bryan, alongside LaBeouf's attorney Shawn Holley, released a joint statement reiterating that both their clients have agreed to settle the case out of court.

"While the details of the settlement will remain private, we wish each other personal happiness, professional success, and peace in the future," the joint statement concluded.

Still reacting to the news, another X subscriber suggested that the actor now has the floor to "counter sue her for the trauma her bogus case has caused." A third commenter proposed a theory, citing that the singer withdrew from the case due to the presence or lack of overwhelming evidence.

Another concerned fan noted that case dismissal is a common trend among victims, while some even maintain absolute silence.

"That's unexpected. Whatever the reason behind the dismissal, we hope FKA twigs finds peace and healing. Justice and personal well-being should always go hand in hand," this fan noted.

When Twigs' legal team made an eight-figure demand as compensation for the discomfort experienced by their client due to LaBeouf's actions, the actor's attorneys issued a rebuttal.

According to them, the plaintiff had maintained a steady and thriving career both during and after her relationship with the defendant. His attorney noted that she had even released new music in 2020 and 2021, indicating that she had more than sufficient financial resources.

The singer also reportedly starred in a movie project and modeled for Calvin Klein, as well as appeared in Elle and British Vogue, all of which contributed to her success.

In response, Twigs' attorney declared that any attempt by LaBeouf's team to dismiss Twigs' the monetary value of emotional distress due to her career progression must not be welcomed. Her lawyer argued that victims deserve to have hope for the future through an appropriate settlement.

"Logically, without the trauma that she has suffered, I can only imagine the level of success she would have achieved by now," the singer's lawyer added.

Last year, the TV star's lawyer bemoaned Twigs' series of excuses on why she has thwarted multiple attempts to depose her. The actress reportedly blamed her tight schedule for the movement of dates and unnecessary back-and-forth between the parties involved.

As seen on The Blast, LaBeouf's lawyer noted that the English record producer is being rather strategic with her absence, but would use her packed calendar as a convenient excuse.

The attorney added that the actress, in conjunction with her team, is attempting to delay the deposition long enough to see if LaBeouf has a complete recollection of events in their relationship. Should this be true, the lawyer claimed that Twigs will use that as an opportunity to avoid giving false accounts.

LaBeouf's lawyer noted that his team had attempted to depose the actress on multiple occasions over the course of a year. Now, Twigs thought of a bright idea to flip the table suddenly and insisted she would not grant LaBeouf's deposition requests until she deposes him first.
