Hunter Biden Claims George Clooney Threatened To 'Embarrass' His Dad Joe In Blistering Remarks About The Actor

Former President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, seems to be appalled by Hollywood star George Clooney.

The former first son recently lashed out at Clooney, criticizing him and other Democratic Party stakeholders who had encouraged his father to drop out of the 2024 presidential race.

Hunter Biden also weighed in on his father's disastrous debate with now-President Donald Trump, claiming he was given Ambien before the event.

Hunter has called out famous actor Clooney, as well as other party stakeholders, who urged his father, Biden, to drop out of his second presidential bid.

In a new interview with YouTube personality Andrew Callaghan, Hunter took aim at the "Good Night and Good Luck" star over his July 10, 2024, New York Times op-ed that urged Democrats to pick a new presidential nominee.

"F-ck him and everybody around him, I don't have to be f-cking nice," Hunter said.

"Number one, I agree with [director] Quentin Tarantino, George Clooney is not a f-cking actor … he is a brand," he said. "He's great friends with [former President] Barack Obama. F-ck you. What do you have to do with f-cking anything?

"Why do I have to f-cking listen to you?" Hunter furiously added.

Clooney and Biden used to be very close friends, but their split and underlying turmoil were left plain for all to see.

"George Clooney wasn't going to show up to that fundraiser, and he was b-tching to the White House staff," Hunter recalled. "He was so angry that the president would criticize the arrest warrant that was executed for [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu."

According to reports, Clooney's wife, Amal, was one of the six experts who recommended that the International Criminal Court prosecute Netanyahu for purported war crimes against Palestinians in Gaza.

In fact, the actor then sent "reams" of text messages threatening that he was "going to embarrass the president and pull out of the fundraiser," Hunter claimed, per the New York Post.

Elsewhere in the interview, Hunter suggested Clooney had the backing of former president Barack Obama and some allies to throw his father under the bus.

"James Carville, who hasn't run a race in 40 f-cking years, and David Axelrod, who had one success in his political life, and that was Barack Obama — that was because of Barack Obama, not because of f-cking David Axelrod," Hunter began.

"And David Plouffe and all of these guys in the 'Pod Save America,' guys who were junior f-cking speech writers on Barack Obama's Senate staff who have been dining out on the relationship with him for years, making millions of dollars, the Anita Dunns of the world, who's made $40, $50 million off the Democratic Party they're all going to insert their judgment," He noted.

For most of the campaign trail, Biden did his best to win votes, but was dealt a major blow when he froze on stage while debating Donald Trump.

"I know exactly what happened in that debate," Hunter told Callaghan in an interview released Monday on the anniversary of Joe Biden ending his re-election bid.

"He flew around the world. He's 81 years old. He's tired. They give him Ambien to be able to sleep, and he gets up on the stage and looks like a deer in the headlights," Hunter claimed.

At the time, the party soon went through a phase of rebellion, forcing Biden to set aside his ambitions.

"They said, 'We are going to blow up the party if you don't drop out,'" Hunter noted. "'We're going to protest this all the way up for the next month, all the way up to the convention."

Most of Hunter's fury with Clooney is due to the actor's scathing piece in The New York Times titled "I Love Joe Biden, But We Need a New Nominee."

The brutal Op-Ed came weeks after Biden's controversial debate performance, during which the then-president faced off against his predecessor and now-successor, Donald Trump.

"I love Joe Biden. As a senator. As a vice president and as president. I consider him a friend, and I believe in him. Believe in his character. Believe in his morals. In the last four years, he's won many of the battles he's faced," Clooney wrote at the start.

However, after praising Biden, the Oscar award winner went in on the then-president.

Clooney stated, "But the one battle he cannot win is the fight against time. None of us can. It's devastating to say it, but the Joe Biden I was with three weeks ago at the fundraiser was not the Joe 'big F-cking deal' Biden of 2010. He wasn't even the Joe Biden of 2020. He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate."

At the time, Clooney believed that Biden stepping down and passing the torch to another Democrat was the only way to "enliven" the party and "wake up voters" who had been discouraged by the debate performance.
