The photos, which showed Sydney makeup-free and in a plunging swimsuit, definitely highlighted her famous assets, but some fans had other things on their mind. When one of the images was reposted on Instagram in December 2024, one fan said that the press' presence was "disgusting."

When the photos were reposted on Instagram, one fan lashed out, saying: "Honestly, this is disgusting. Not her. The person taking the photos. People who idolize this sh-t are gross af. Fr. She's at the pool. This dude is taking photos of her over some bushes."

Continuing, they stated: "Call it paparazzi, or call it peeping tom, yk something people go to jail for." The sentiment wasn't an isolated one, though.

Sydney Sweeney's photos had been published by The Daily Mail, and here, too, fans found the whole thing awkward. Over 700 fans agreed when a user said: "These photos should be illegal. She made a huge mistake buying such a public property but the photos that have been taken and shared are outrageous."

One fan asked whether Sydney called the paparazzi herself or whether they "invaded her privacy." Sydney is known for sharing figure-flaunting photos on her Instagram, but fans here did seem to think that the paparazzi had gone too far. For one fan, this was something that would've been "called stalking" back in the day.
