Andy Byron, CEO of the billion-dollar AI firm Astronomer, has officially stepped down following a viral kiss cam moment that showed him appearing to cuddle up with Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot during a Coldplay concert, a moment that many online interpreted as a public affair.

The couple also reportedly purchased a $2.2 million, four-bedroom home in the area just five months ago, further casting doubt on any speculation that the two had separated prior to the viral incident.

Andy Byron’s wife, Megan Kerrigan Byron, appears to be distancing herself from the scandal. Following the viral kiss cam footage, Megan made a series of quiet but telling moves online.

Before deactivating her Facebook entirely, Megan first removed “Byron” from her display name, a change that didn’t go unnoticed by internet sleuths. Shortly after the name update, her social media accounts were taken offline altogether.
