Denise Richards' estranged partner is singing a different tune about what went down that led to the demise of their marriage.
Aaron Phypers, the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum's second husband, became embroiled in domestic violence allegations weeks after filing to end their six-year marriage.
Denise Richards accused her estranged husband of various forms of abuse, claiming he repeatedly harmed her during their union. However, Aaron Phypers vehemently denied the allegations, citing the actress's dark past.
Denise Richards' Estranged Husband Vehemently Denies The Abuse Allegations

Phypers recently denied his estranged wife's domestic violence claims in a lengthy statement, stressing that he was not the villain his former partner painted him to be. "Let me be unequivocally clear: I have never physically or emotionally abused Denise — or anyone," he claimed.
"These accusations are completely false and deeply hurtful. Denise and I, like many couples, have faced our share of challenges, but any suggestion of abuse is categorically untrue. I have always tried to approach our marriage with love, patience, and respect," Phypers added.
He implored the public for privacy and hoped the media would "refrain from spreading harmful and baseless claims," per RadarOnline. A source close to Phypers echoed similar sentiments about the situation, sharing a different narrative of the alleged abuse Richards claimed she endured.
The Actress' Alcohol Addiction Resurfaces

According to the source, the black eye Richards showcased in her domestic violence report did not come from a physical altercation. "This is consistent with the ongoing untruthfulness of Denise Richards, who is trying to hide her alcohol problem," they claimed.
"That photo was taken in winter 2022, and the fact is, she was drunk at the time and fell coming up the steps to Aaron's clinic, Q360," the source added. They explained that Richards' face had collided with the corner of the step when she fell, leading to the massive bruise on her eye.
The source sounded confident about their claims, noting there were several witnesses present who could testify that Richards had injured her eye after she stumbled on the stairs.
"Aaron has never touched her and never would," they declared. The TV personality sparked concern about her addiction issues in 2023 when she appeared drunk on an episode of "RHOBH."
The 'Wild Things' Star Filed A Restraining Order Against Her Former Beau

Phypers' response to Richards' domestic violence allegations follows her restraining order petition. The Blast covered the story, reporting the entertainer had detailed the alleged abuse she repeatedly endured during her six-year relationship.
"Aaron would violently choke me… aggressively slam my head… hold me down with his knee on my back to the point where I would have to plead with him to get off me so that he would not kill me," Richards claimed. She alleged her estranged husband would frequently threaten to kill her and install spyware to monitor her movements.
One alleged incident occurred on July 4, the same day listed as their date of separation. Richards recalled Phypers had allegedly gotten close to her face to scream degrading profanities, calling her a "c-nt" and a "piece of sh-t."
The verbal abuse reportedly continued the following day when he showed up with his father to harass her.
The Former Bravolebrity Bagged Her TRO

Richards also detailed the alleged incident that left her with a black eye, claiming her estranged husband had assaulted her during a paranoid episode.
She claimed Phypers believed there were listening devices in his potted plants and struck her in the eye with the heel of his palm while calling her a "f-cking b-tch."
Additionally, the former Bravolebrity accused her former beau of owning at least eight unregistered firearms. She backed her abuse allegations with pictures of bruises on her arms and a massive black eye. Given these alleged crimes, a judge granted Richards a temporary restraining order against Phypers.
Richards received the TRO shortly after sources claimed she was hellbent on getting revenge. The Blast shared that an insider alleged the entertainer was "furious" at Phypers for ending their marriage despite knowing she did not want another divorce.
Denise Richards Reportedly Plans To Cut Off Her Estranged Husband

The source claimed Phypers made a big mistake filing for divorce, noting his alleged attempt to harm Richards had backfired. "Aaron wanted to hurt her, and he has. Meanwhile, the last thing he wants is to be broke - so she's cutting off his cash flow," they explained.
As the insider claimed, Phypers needed Richards to stay afloat as he did not have a source of income. He lamented about his poor finances in his divorce filing, stressing that he had not worked since shutting down his Malibu wellness center, Q360 Club, in October 2024.
Despite not having an income source, Phypers claimed he needed $105,000 monthly to cover his expenses and implored the court to force Richards to support him. An informant noted he required the sum to cater to his needs and those of his family living in Richards' Calabasas home.
