Billie Eilish's pioneer move may have now cost her the love of some of her fans!
The songstress' decision to make only vegan foods available at the vendors' stands did not sit well with her fans, who had paid a significant amount for her concert ticket.
Billie Eilish has remained a prominent voice in veganism advocacy as she took a stand against the inhumane treatment of animals for meat production years ago.
Billie Eilish Insisted All Menus For Her Six Nights At The O2 Arena Remain Plant-Based

The 23-year-old treated her fans to an entirely plant-based menu at the concert featuring meals like peri-peri haloumi wraps, corn naan, chipotle tacos, pizzas, and pancakes. All meat-based meals have been duly removed from the menu.
Displeased fans were duly informed that the order came from the superstar, and a source shared that they may have to order takeout on their way home from the show. However, another section of the attendees has no problem with the menu.
Eilish also took the fans on a brief journey through veganism, environmental care, and how everyone on her tour is playing an active role in protecting the environment and animals. The crew reportedly also eats only plant-based meals on tour.
An eco village has been set up at the arena to educate show attendees on climate change and its impact on the environment. The Daily Mail confirmed that fans purchasing her concert merchandise must also note that it is made from sustainable products.

Eilish did not wake up one day to pick up the mantra of animal and environmental advocacy. She was actually raised a vegetarian and has displayed exceptional consistency with her beliefs on animal cruelty ever since.
Despite being named after her maternal grandfather, Bill Baird, who hunted and fished, her mother, Maggie Baird, had an epiphany about the occupation and stopped consuming meat in the seventies.
Maggie described that sole decision as a turning point in her life that took the weight and guilt of watching people being cruel to animals off her shoulders. In Maggie's words:
"You know, once you really open your mind to knowing about it, it is impossible not to go all the way with it...The amazing thing was we all had health benefits, different health benefits. You know, you do it for the philosophical reason, and then you go 'wow.'… That was a real plus."
Eilish has an exception to her veganism. She understands that people can wear shoes made from leather, eat honey from bees, and even ride horses, but that is about as considerate as she can be.
Thanks to her huge platform, which began at just fourteen years old, she continues to share her perspective while taking in the Grammys, BRIT Awards, Oscars, and Billboard Awards.

In 2019, Eilish took to Instagram to shed light on the abuse of cows on a dairy farm in Indiana. A very concerned Eilish reposted the video from a handle that initially described the content as the largest undercover dairy investigation in history.
As shared by Complex, the vocalist began her rant by admitting that she usually maintains a skeptical silence over controversial issues such as policing people's diets. However, the video struck a nerve, and she had to address some issues.
"But man.. if you can watch the videos that I just posted and not give a f-ck that it's YOU contributing by LITERALLY EATING the creatures that are being fully tortured just for your pleasure. I feel sorry for you," Eilish declared.
While she acknowledges that meat may appeal to some people's taste buds, she also recognizes that one person making the life-changing decision to adopt a vegan lifestyle can go a long way in changing society. "If you have half a brain, you should know 'one person' adds up... be smarter," she concluded.

Eilish came out as queer in 2023, but she admitted a year later in a Vogue interview that it did not happen on her terms. According to her, she felt pressured to own it, and the reaction that followed shocked her; Eilish thought it had been an open secret all along.
The singer declared that she was attracted to women in her landmark interview with Variety, a fact she wished she had not addressed so directly. At that point in her life, especially as a 22-year-old, the songwriter affirmed that she had the right to the level of privacy adults her age enjoyed.
"I wish no one knew anything about my sexuality or anything about my dating life. Ever, ever, ever. And I hope that they never will again," she emphasized. The singer also once admitted in another interview that self-pleasure helps take the edge off her nerves. In her words:
"I think it's such a frowned-upon thing to talk about, and I think that should change. You asked me what I do to decompress. That sh-t can save you sometimes, just saying. Can't recommend it more, to be real."
Billie Eilish Got Vulnerable About Her Struggles With Self-Image

The 23-year-old, back in April, responded to a poignant question from rapper Nicki Minaj, who noticed that Eilish sometimes "felt uncomfortable" with her beauty.
"Was there ever a time in your career, or before you made it, when you wished people couldn't see you and that they could only hear the music and really get a chance to just listen to the written words?" Minaj continued.
She added that her question stemmed from the fact that so many women feel like their beauty has taken all the attention away from their career or talent.
Eilish then answered the rapper that she had never felt beautiful or seen herself as attractive, which is why she has not dealt with that feeling the rapper identified.
She revealed that part of her hard work being a woman is having to convince herself all the time that she is indeed beautiful and deserving of the compliments. Eilish admitted later in the interview that she hated her body and looked forward to losing weight for a long time.
Things became very complicated when she became famous, but her inner strength got her through some of her darkest times, and the process is ongoing. "And feeling so much pressure, and then when more people knew me, more people had something to say," she added.
