Ozzy Osbourne's 'Forgotten' Daughter Skipped His Family Affair Farewell Gig

Aimee Osbourne, the reserved daughter of Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, continues to avoid drawing attention to herself. 

The oldest of the iconic couple's three children is the least popular and mostly "forgotten" because she refused to be a part of her family's fame. Her apparent aversion to the spotlight was so strong that she reportedly missed her father's final performance.

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne welcomed three children during their decades-long marriage: daughters Aimee and Kelly, as well as a son named Jack. While the youngest children share a close bond, the oldest is reportedly estranged from her siblings because of her low-key personality.

According to new reports, while fans, friends, and loved ones gathered to support Ozzy's final performance with the Black Sabbath band, his oldest daughter with Sharon was noticeably absent.

Sources claimed Aimee intentionally skipped the event despite being invited to protect herself. Aimee allegedly told friends she "wanted to protect myself, my parents, my siblings, too."

It was unclear what she wished to protect her family from; however, she believed not attending the farewell gig at Birmingham's Villa Park was the best way forward. The oldest of the Osbourne children has always been clear on what's best for her.

The singer, who performs under the moniker ARO, first showcased her willingness to be a separate entity from her family in 2002. At 16, Aimee knew she wasn't made for the spotlight and left home to avoid starring in her family's hit reality TV series, "The Osbournes," perRadarOnline.

Aimee reportedly left home to forge a path independent of her family's name, once claiming she walked away to avoid the "chaos of family life." In 2015, she reflected on the aftermath of leaving a separate life from her younger siblings, noting had different personalities.

At the time of her exit, a source close to the family claimed: "Aimee's always been wise beyond her years. She was exposed to a lot of chaotic moments while touring with the family and knew early on that lifestyle wasn't for her."

Another insider shared the same view, noting that Aimee wished to be recognized for her talents, not her surname. Another reason she might have skipped her father's farewell concert could be her estrangement from Kelly.

Her younger sister confirmed they had zero contact in 2021, saying: "We're just really different. She doesn't understand me, and I don't understand her." Given their history, Aimee might have felt awkward participating in Kelly's big moment.

Aimee resurfaced in the spotlight last month after debuting a new, chiseled face and toned physique. The Daily Mail shared images of her transformation, capturing her looking almost unrecognizable during an outing in Manchester.

The paparazzi spotted her leaving a hotel alongside Brigitte Calls Me Baby star Wes Leavins, who was touring in the UK. Her appearance with the singer sparked relationship rumors as Aimee frequently left sweet comments underneath Leavins' social media posts.

This rare sighting marked one of the few in recent years, as Aimee mostly kept to herself, sharing glimpses of her life on Instagram only when she felt like it.

Last year, she opened up to fans about her music career and struggles to achieve fame outside her family. She described the journey as "littered with shards of heartbreak, twists & turns."

Ozzy's farewell performance with Black Sabbath was meant to be his final hurrah amid his battle with Parkinson's disease. However, Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson couldn't help but make the event a double celebration by proposing to Kelly backstage.

The Blast covered the story, reporting that Kelly shared a video of the big moment on Instagram. The clip captured Ozzy and Sharon seated beside each other, watching intently as Wilson professed his undying love to their daughter amidst a crowd of onlookers.

Wilson claimed he cherished Kelly beyond words and wanted nothing more than to spend the rest of his life with the media personality. Before he could pop the big question, Ozzy chimed in, "F–ck off, you're not marrying my daughter." However, his playful opposition did not stop Kelly from saying yes.

While Aimee has not addressed her father's battle with Parkinson's disease publicly, her younger sister was a different story. The Blast shared that Kelly has been far from quiet regarding Ozzy's debilitating condition and ripped a fan apart for their incentive comment.

She brought fans into the loop through her Instagram Stories, sharing a screenshot of the individual's comment. The person claimed Kelly needed to educate herself about Parkinson's disease, noting she was in denial about the severity of Ozzy's condition.

The fan stressed that Ozzy was dying and implored Kelly to accept the truth. The former "Fashion Police" star vehemently shut down the "dying" narrative, arguing that her father was not at death's door.

She noted she understood his condition the best and warned the person to stop spreading rude and insensitive narratives.
