Lori Loughlin’s Daughter Olivia Jade Makes Drastic Move To Escape College Scandal: 'A Lot Going On'

Lori Loughlin's youngest daughter, Olivia Jade Giannulli, has made a significant move to leave her scandalous past behind.

Five years after the mother-daughter duo were involved in a nationwide college bribery scandal, the influencer is bidding farewell to America.

The "Full House" actress has been candid about the ordeal that led to her imprisonment, calling it a "learning experience."

In a new vlog shared on her YouTube channel, Olivia revealed that she temporarily relocated to Paris, France. The 12-minute clip detailed her daily life in the city of love and gave a glimpse of her new apartment.

While giving details of her summer, the influencer told her subscribers, "Good morning from Paris. This is going to be such a fun adventure to film, and I'm here for a little while living."

She continued, "So, I'm really excited to get some videos out for you guys. It’s just going to be such an exciting, formative time."

The social media personality then detailed her day, which included her attending star-studded Paris Fashion Week events. "I did the Patou show [and] the Chanel show, which was amazing," she gushed.

Although the 25-year-old didn't give a reason for the change in continent, she did share some of her plans for this new chapter with her followers.

"I’m living in Paris for a little while. That's the update," Olivia explained. "A lot more fun, exciting change is also coming in the future, which I'm so excited to share with you guys."

She further teased her plans to launch a business later this year. However, she didn't go into details about what industry. "There's just a lot going on, and it's all really good and really exciting," the social media figure added.

Although the YouTuber didn't mention the college admission scandal in her vlog, the incident has undoubtedly left a lasting impact on her family's legacy.

Olivia and her older sister, Isabella Rose, were the subjects of the scandal that led to their parents, Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli, paying a bribe of $500,000 to secure them university spots.

The actress and the fashion designer were fined heavily and sentenced to prison, with the former serving two months and the latter five months.

Although the nepo babies supported their parents during the ordeal, Olivia took accountability on behalf of her family. She broke her silence during a 2020 episode of the "Red Table Talk," saying:

"I'm not trying to victimize myself. I don't want pity — I don't deserve pity. We messed up. I just want a second chance to be like, 'I recognize I messed up."

Years later, she spoke about the intense backlash revealed and how her family has since been victims of "cancel culture" even after her parents' release.

"I'm so hesitant to talk about it because of the trauma ... of like, 'Gosh, if I say this or it comes off kinda the wrong way, am I gonna get canceled again?'" she confessed on her podcast.

Earlier this year, Olivia's mom's perspective on the bribery scandal was revealed. As The Blast reported, close sources revealed Loughlin is rebuilding her life with a new sense of purpose.

"Lori did a lot of soul searching after the whole college admissions scandal," the insider noted, calling the experience "hellish."

Despite the struggle, the "Critical Mass" reportedly wouldn't change it for anything because she views it as a profound "learning experience more than anything."

As part of her second act, Loughlin, who has been on a journey of reviving her career, is reportedly putting more intention into her fitness.

Close pals of the actress revealed that she has significantly improved her work routine since turning 60 last July. She now lifts heavier weights under the guidance of a personal trainer to build lean muscle in a safe and controlled manner.

Part of her revamped fitness routine includes daily yoga sessions, particularly hot yoga to aid in detoxification. Loughlin also participates in aerobic dance classes, such as Zumba, and runs by the beach for cardio exercises.
