Rosie O'Donnell has her sights set on the future despite Donald Trump's threats to revoke her American citizenship.

The entertainer recently got candid with fans about her feelings and possible return as the host of a new program. It is unclear if she plans to create a new TV show or launch a podcast; however, the gig will focus on the lessons she has learned as a parent.

Rosie O'Donnell's comments about the future come days after she clashed with Donald Trump over this Truth Social post. The President of the United States had labeled the TV personality a "Threat to Humanity" and considered taking away her citizenship.

During a nearly ten-minute conversation with fans on TikTok, O'Donnell addressed various topics from her issues with Trump to her experiences as a mother. She confessed she was not "the greatest as the mother of teenagers," and revealed her plans to confront these issues in a new show.

"The next show I'm gonna do after this one, and I hope to do many, is gonna be called 'Bad Parenting' about how when you don't have parents, it's very hard to figure out how to parent," O'Donnell said. She explained that her perspective on motherhood was limited to what she believed a mother should be.

After losing her mother at a young age, O'Donnell only had the little moments she spent with her to reference when she became a parent.

The Comedian's Parenting Perspective Affected Her First Marriage

O'Donnell tied the knot to her first wife, Kelli Carpenter, in 2004. They adopted three children together and welcomed a fourth, a daughter, through artificial insemination before their 2007 split. The TV host adopted another girl named Clay, following her second marriage.

While reflecting on parenthood, O'Donnell confessed that her childish parenting style did not sit right with her first partner, leading to multiple arguments. She noted Carpenter was the type to push their children to follow the rules and challenge themselves, while she allowed them to be laid back.

"I was a very different kind of a parent, but, you know, I had a big arrogance about thinking my way was the right way. And now that I have four grown children between 22 and 30 and one little one still, I'm gonna be doing it differently with Clay because I think you learn," O'Donnell added.

The Mother Of Five Is Proud Of Her Children

The TV personality noted she was proud of her five children, Parker, Chelsea, Blake, Vivienne, and Clay, claiming they were all living their best lives. She shared little updates about them, adding that she was especially proud of Chelsea for finding her way.

The doting mother's comments about Chelsea were heartwarming given their troubled history. The entertainer's eldest daughter struggled with drug addiction and had numerous run-ins with the law, leading to a complicated relationship with her mother.

The pair also made waves early this year when PEOPLE reported that Chelsea had filed court documents to have her name changed. Her decision to remove O'Donnell as her last name came after sources claimed her mother had removed her from her will.

Why Donald Trump Never Appeared On 'The Rosie O'Donnell Show'

O'Donnell recently addressed her bad blood with Trump in a virtual appearance on the "Jann Arden Podcast." A clip of her comments was shared on Instagram, capturing her recounting the reason the president became obsessed with hurting her. O'Donnell recalled:

"Since 2006, he's had this issue with me once I told the truth about who he was and who he is. He went crazy and he's had a 20-year vendetta where he can't help himself but use me as a punching bag and ridicule me and tease me and call me ugly and unappealing and, you know, a degenerate and all the things that he does."

"I never had him on my show. You know, he always called and wanted to come on the show, and I would never have him because I had no interest in him and I had no respect for who he was as a person," O'Donnell added.
