Diddy appears to be doing his best to obtain a lesser sentence following his 8-week trial on racketeering, sex trafficking, and prostitution charges.

The embattled music mogul came out victorious in the highly publicized legal ordeal by escaping the racketeering and sex trafficking accusations that warranted severe punishment. Now, he's keeping up with his drug use and violence rehabilitation programs to show his willingness to change.

Diddy's legal ordeals skyrocketed after his former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, sued and won her sexual assault lawsuit against him. More women came out to accuse the rapper of horrifying crimes, leading to an investigation and eventually a federal indictment last year.

According to new reports, Diddy enrolled in the STOP Program, a rehabilitation course offered to inmates by the feds to prevent sexual assault, domestic, and dating violence. The entertainer did not stop there as he is also undergoing therapy and participating in the Dr. Harry K. Wexler drug abuse program.

Diddy, per sources, enrolled in these programs to overcome his drug use and violence against women. The 8-week trial touched on these issues, with testimonies about his rampant use of drugs like Molly. On that note, an insider labeled his rehab move a path toward redemption.

While sources claim Diddy joined rehab to become a better person, TMZ reported that it was not strange for convicted individuals like the rapper to enter rehabilitation programs ahead of their sentencing.

Diddy may not fall under the category of inmates who joined rehab behind bars to impress the judge. According to the outlet, he allegedly began undergoing drug treatment before his 2024 arrest and indictment.

He continued his treatment behind bars and will presumably remain in rehab before his October 3 sentencing, where Judge Arun Subramanian shall decide his fate. As stated, Diddy escaped the racketeering and sex trafficking charges and was found guilty on two lesser prostitution charges.

The jury's verdict left many displeased, sparking widespread criticism and theories that Diddy's celebrity status had influenced the not guilty outcome. However, The Blast shared that a juror vehemently shut down these speculations and defended their decision.

The juror spoke out in the jury's defense, claiming the public's criticism was "highly insulting and belittling to the jury and the deliberation process." They explained that they thoroughly considered the evidence presented and more alongside the law before making a decision.

The jury, per the juror, spent over two days weighing all the facts and legal procedures before choosing to find Diddy not guilty of racketeering and sex trafficking. "We would have treated any defendant in the same manner regardless of who they are. I have nothing else to say," they added.

Although Diddy's attorney believed his bail loss wasn't a significant issue, a former federal prosecutor begged to differ. The Blast reported that Jennifer Beidel suspected the rapper was in for trouble with Judge Subramanian, noting he could end up receiving severe punishment during his sentencing.

Beidel explained that the judge hinted at their possible decision during the bail denial. The legal umpire had rejected the $1 million bond, citing Diddy's violent history, which was highlighted during the trial. "He is saying he thinks that Diddy poses a danger to society," she claimed.
